It's funny
How we say we hate what we need most
I saw you two dancing last night
Singing that same dumb song
With tears in your eyes
He held you tightly in his embrace
And there was nothing warmer than his lips
They almost burned
There was a smile forming at the corner of his lips
He won
He got you back
He gripped your hips so hard you almost screamed
There was no way to escape now
He moved away from your mouth
And you could almost breathe for a minute
Then he sunk his teeth into your neck
The soft gentle flesh
And he slid his sharp tongue across
There was this small yelp
And then silence
And you sunk into him
Trusted him
He still had to fulfill his promise
To take away your pain
Did he?
Did he take it all away?
Answer me!
I didn't realize...
That you felt alone
...
Let's cut you down already
That rope must be so uncomfortable around your neck
Poor thing
Did death heal you?
Did he keep his promise to you?
