A child is a simple creature
Filled with innocence
That wants nothing but love
Maybe that's why it's so easy to change them
You filled her bottle with lies
And fed it to her every times she cried
Made her crib into a cage
And trapped her inside every time she laughed
You changed every aspect of her life
Molded her into your perfect little monster
Crushed every bit of light in her life
Maybe that was the problem
Her tiny little hands
Snapped your neck
And she became your worst nightmare

A/N: The poem is more violent than it's theme and message. The Monster Under the Bed is basically about the loss of innocence in a child and how badly people can be affected when hurt by those they care about.
