Chapter 7

The Lovely Woman

I stared at the window, listening Mr. Trevor as he explaining about theory of galaxy.

He points to one person to answer the question. The man looked nervous when he can not answer it as he is being scold by Mr. Trevor and everyone in the class  laughing.  I feel sorry for him.

Today, the sky covered in the thick clouds blocking the sunlight. The air felt a little chills as the winter is coming.

The memory of that friday night came to mind. My lips suddenly curls into a smile remembering the happiness that fills my heart.

I'm so happy they received me very well and even think of me as a family and I think so too. My heart felt warm at the thought.

I felt relieved they did not feel uncomfortable or disappoint in me despite seeing my face. They make me feel warm and most of all relax. It felt so good being around them.

The bell rang was heard throughout the room ripping me out of thought. Mr. Trevor dismiss us and the crowd of students leave the class immediately.

Lifting up my bag on my shoulder, I stand up ready to leave the empty room.

I walk in college hallway looking around, the students are lively as usual. I entered the cafeteria, my stomach growl when my nose smells the food that makes me drooling. I touch my stomach feeling hungry.

I ran to queue for food that was already crowded with people.

After I standing for a long time, I finally get my lunch. I sigh in relieved.

I started walking and looking for place we used to sit on. I spotted Jasmine and Angela who just put the tray on the table and take a sit.

I carefully walked toward them not wanting to drop my food.

This time I decided to tell them everything about me and Harry that we become friends now. I befriend a handsome guy. 'I wonder how they reaction would be when I tell them? Will they support or..?' I feel a little scared about the thought. But, they are all wonderful people. I believed in them with all my heart.

"Hi guys." I greet them when I'm close to the table. Put down my tray and take a sit on white plastic chair.

"Hey Ren, long time no see." Jasmine said in sarcastic tone.

Angela chuckled and I was frowning.
"What's with that? We just didn't see in two days?" I comment more like a question.

Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Yeah and you just disappeared last friday I called you a thousand times but you never answer." she fake anger.

I form an apologetic smile at her.
"I'm sorry Jas. I forgot to bring my phone when I went outside and when I received a thousand of your missed calls, I called you back right away. Please don't be mad again, okay?" I touch her hand pleading for forgiveness. I know she is not angry but at least I want to apologize again.

I can see Jas hold back a smile and soon it turns into a laugh. I smile in respond. She calm down her laugh until it fade into a smirk.
"Geez, it's fine stupid. I'm not mad at you. I was just teasing you."
