Chapter 23

The
War of Loves Part 2

Wilson returned into the battlefield. He turned into his wolf form and joined his wife, Anna, who was attacking a vampire in front of her.

Carles and Hellen are also working together to block Alisha's parents. It's very awkward, they have known each other for so long. Never thought at all they will become enemies and try to kill each other.

While Haley, Carls and Russel together attacked several people at once.

Haley jumped up and grabbed the man's head. She twist his head that makes his neck broke. The man  slumped down the ground.

"Good job Haley!" Russel called, Haley responded with a grin.

Ben and his team are also trying to knock them out. But unfortunately bad luck came to Brye, one of Jack's classmate. Brye tried to attack the black-haired vampire but his movements were already read by the vampire. The black-haired vampire quickly tucked into Brye's feet, causing him to fall.

Stab!

The vampire jabbed his knife right in Brye's chest. At that moment Brye couldn't dodge it, he whimper as blood running out his body. He slowly closed his eyes.

When Ben sense something's wrong, he run towards where Brye is laying. Ben immediately attacked that vampire with his claws until he died. Ben look again at Brye who was there. Some of his teams had approached Brye and tried to save him but they failed. They have the same kind of expression, it is sadness. 'Shit!' Ben swore in his mind. A howl was heard. The howl that indicates that one of them is gone.

Ben knows his brother must have heard that.

"Run Jack!" He said through mind link to Jack. Ben didn't want Jack to be down, he had to get Renessmee to a safety place.

On the other hand Harry is dealing with Alisha. The two of them staring at each other.

"Alisha, stop this already." Harry said quietly. He want Alisha to understand this.

"It's too late Harry." Alisha replied. She looked like she is not herself anymore and Harry realized that. "If I have to die now then you will die with me!"

Alisha said this as she charges him. She holds a poisoned knife and tries to attack Harry with that. Harry tried to dodge her attack without attacking her back.

"Alisha! Please I don't want to hurt you!" Harry grabs her hand making her stop moving.

Alisha stare at his eyes. "If you want to kill me just do it!" Alisha evades. She managed to escape from Harry's grasp and made a distance with him. "Hmph." Alisha pulled out another knife from behind her robe. Now she holds two knives in her hand. Alisha ran again towards Harry, she jump to attack him  from the top. Harry manages to avoid, he stands behind Alisha but she realizes that and tries to direct the knife towards Harry. The move Alisha did was faster than before. Harry knew Alisha is strong, he knew that and wanted to strike back but he couldn't. He can't hurt his friend whom he considers family. Wound after wound managed to hurt Harry's body because he tried to avoid it as hard as he could. Alisha realized Harry was getting tired and she used the opportunity to bring him down. After Harry fell to the ground, Alisha quickly hold his body. She tried to point  the poisoned knife directly at Harry's face, realizing that Harry managed to stop her by holding Alisha's hands. Just a little more, the knife has touched him. Alisha tried to suppress with her strength while Harry tried to hold her back.
