The Moving Out

Mark Potter  POV

( Don't play the song until it says so in the story. )

I woke up early in the morning. The sunlight poking through the large window makes the room a bit bright.

I rubbed my eyes adjusting eyesight. Slowly, I stood and heading towards the bathroom to do morning routines.

As I came out of the bathroom, I smelled delicious food. I followed the smelled that turned out to come from the kitchen. I made my way over to the kitchen and when I stepped inside, I saw Stewart standing near the counter while wearing a navy blue apron. Unconsciously, my mouth watered and stomatch growled indicated I was hungry. She turned and looked at my blushing face. I carefully looked up at her violet eyes that captivated me for several years. She looked at me blankly before changing into her genuine smile. My heart melted could see the smile again.

"Good morning." she greeted, while looking at the pan she is cooking again. "Take a sit, I'm almost done."

"Uh okay." I replied quietly, as I crept over to the dining chair.

I waited patiently while she doing so. I steal a few glances towards her when she sets the table. Not long afterwards the food is ready and placed in front of me. She took a seat across me and begin eating. None of us start a conversation for a few minutes of a heavy silence stretched between us, and the one to finally break the awkward atmosphere was her.

"So, have you changed your mind?" My girlfriend said, still looking at her plate.

"Huh?" Oh she's talking about Renessme right. But from the way she talk, she is more relax now. "Yeah, it's all thanks to you. After I talked to my parents yesterday seems like my mind is more open up now." a smile crept my lips. I continue to chew my food.

She nodded and finally glance up at me. "I'm so happy to hear that. I know you're not as stubborn as I thought." she grin. "Sorry to have yelled at you. That's cause all I do for your good, you know that."

"Yeah I know. And I am sorry too for worrying you." I don't want to make her worry about me again.

A sweet chuckled, her usual bright expression returned to her features; settling my nerves as well. "It's my job to worry about you. And on the plus side, now you can understand what mate really meant and how important they are to our lives, right?"

Another small smile crawled onto my face. "You're right." knowing her so concern makes me happy.

We continued eating, while we were done I helped her with the dishes that she gladly accept it. She then prepares to leave for work. After graduated, she started working at her father's restaurant in town. It's been one year since she's working though. While I waited her wearing shoes in the doorway, she paused and turned her eyes to me. Her expression was somewhat serious.

"What's your plan then? I meant, you can't just ask her come back to you right?" at her softly spoken words, I get a bit choked up as well.
