The Jealousy

Writer POV

Sam come back to the pack house.

He walked over to the house and entered the room. He has wondering the whole time, thinking about what happened earlier. 'What was that women aim? Why did she want to kill Alpha's mate?'  Without realizing it, he has stood in front of Mark's office room.

Knock-knock

He knocked at the door, there is a moment of silence before someone answering.

"Come in." That someone says.

Sam walked into the room and found his Alpha gazing out the window with his back leaning on chair.

Sam didn't know how to start telling Mark, but no matter what this is not a simple problem. It's all about someone's life, especially his Alpha's mate. He needs to fulfill his duty to protect all the pack members even if he needs to risk his life. But for Mark, he's more than bestfriend and Mark is like a family to him.

He took a deep breath before saying what he has to say.
"Alpha, I come here to report something."

Mark nod, letting him to explain.

Sam continues, "I came to check Renessmee this morning. Then I saw her going out from her house to the south forest. At first, I just followed her but things had become strange. There was.. what I supposed vampire woman wearing a black hood. From their conversation it seemed they didn't know each other, but I heard the red-haired woman mentioning Harry's name. I didn't really hear what they were talking about clearly either because I was standing a little away so I wouldn't look suspicious. Then the red-haired woman suddenly approached Renessmee. At that time I thought something was wrong with that woman. So I reflexively approached the two of them and tried to get rid of that woman from Renessmee. But she manage to dodge it and in the end she ran eastward. "

Mark's standing from his chair and turn around facing Sam.

"What did you say? You just let her go like that? Why don't you kill her?!" Mark yelled.

"I'm sorry Alpha. But my prioritize is to keep Renessmee saved. I know I should have kill her right away but the situation isn't possible." Sam look down, feeling useless. He also hate it why he can't just kill the vampire at that time but then again, he lost her.

"Shit." Mark run his finger through his hair. He feels like he wants to be beside Renessmee at the time and can protect from anyone who wants to hurt her. "How is she?" Mark ask about Renessmee.

"She is fine. That woman hasn't had the chance to hurt her. Renessmee just looks shocked but I guess she's also confused about what happened earlier." Sam explain. He feels sorry because he should know that she is in danger.

Mark sigh in relief. "Thank God." Inside his heart, he wants to go to Renessmee's place and hug her tightly to tell her that she's save. He can't shake off the feeling. "Did you take her photo?" Mark look again to his Beta.

Sam nod "Yes Alpha. I will immediately investigate who this vampire is and the aim she is targeting Renessmee. I'll coordinate with Zac now if you'll excuse me." He excuse himself.

"Yeah go ahead." Mark said before Sam left the room.
