You showed up dressed in the softest fabric to ever be sewn.
You rode up on this beautiful pure white horse that's main flowed effortlessly.
You had a crown that stood beautiful and tall on your head.
You were so gentle & kind.
A true gentlemen.
Always made sure you told me I was special and beautiful.
Took me on remarkable adventures through the kingdom, places I never knew existed.
Made sure I felt like a princess in your presence at all times.

Then slowly things changed.
You stopped telling me I was special and beautiful.
The adventures just turned into tiny walks around the village a continuous loop of things we have already seen.
You didn't wear the softest fabric anymore , turns out they were never yours.
The horse you rode in on was your uncles that he lent you.
The crown was a replica of the kings that you stole one dark night.
You put on a mask to make me believe that the person who showed me so much and treated me like royalty was you.
But now I don't even know who you are.

I never did.
