MALEC ONE SHOTS||Alec & Magnus❤

What went down the other night: Pt. 1

Alec came to Magnus's apartment only to find a note sticking to the door saying, "Off to work. Come at a suitable time when I'm available".

Alec knew if this was some clients of Magnus's or friends other than Katarina then they would surely believe the warlock.
But he was Alec Lightwood, the boyfriend of The High Warlock Of Brooklyn. Surely he knew better!

So he opened the door casually and walked in. Magnus was lounging in his library which wasn't actually a library given all the potions and the weird stuffs but Magnus liked to call it his own personal 'library'.

"Why did you put up that note? As far as I can see, reading a book isn't called a work in your profession." Alec asked the warlock.

The warlock smiled, got up from his favourite couch and threw the book on it. "Technically, reading a book is exactly 50% of my profession. I read a book, learn the spells, stir the potions and use them in my work. Besides, you should know my note had a double meaning." He clarified.

"Of course," Alec scoffed, "Off to work means I'm not outside but inside working beacuse you basically work in your home. And 'come at a suitable time when I'm available' means-"

"I'm not available for you right now even though it doesn't matter whether I'm at home or not cause I won't see you now." Magnus cut off Alec and completed his answer for him.

"Right."

Magnus came near the shadowhunter and kissed him slowly giving into the pleasure. But clever that he was he moved away before Alec could properly respond and dive into.

"But I was wondering if you would show up even."

Alec replied slowly by asking a question instead, his voice husky from the kiss, "Why wouldn't I?"

"That's right. Why wouldn't you? After all you are my one and only boyfriend."

"Magnus cut the crap. What is it?" Alec asked regaining his composure again.

"I was wondering if you would accompany me to the mall. I need some clothes, shoes and-"

"Magnus?"

"Yeah baby?"

"No. The answer is no. I'm not going to the mall. Not with you."

Magnus tried to speak but everytime he did Alec would cut him off with a negative response. Even the pecks on the lips or long kisses weren't working.

Finally, "If you go with me to the mall I won't tell Jace and Clary about the other night. Especially Isabelle who would be so excited to hear."

Alec moved closer to the warlock so close as if their lips were touching but they were still taking in clear voice.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

"You know the other night when you begged me to-" Magnus mumbled or fake mumbled.

"Ugh! stop! What is wrong with you? That was ages ago! And you are still holding it against me! Come on, Magnus. We're not kids. Especially you're definitely not." Alec protested.

"Well someone was acting like one that night and I'm telling you it wasn't me."
Magnus said in an innocent voice as if he knew nothing of this world.

"Fine. I'll go with you. But not a single word. Not another word to anyone about it again. Promise me?" At last Alec gave in.

"Promise." Magnus turned away and quickly went to his bedroom to change.

Clearly the smile he was sporting could've earned a deadly glare from the handsome shadowhunter but only if he had seen it.

After 2 hours:

"Magnus, are you ready yet?" Alec shouted from the living room as he fumbled with the TV remote.

He couldn't pick a channel. All the channels seem to give either a romantic drama or a horror movie. What in the name of the world people watch this two things for?

Like hey there isn't any other thing? What about comedy, history, geography etc.? Ugh people and their minds.

Alec couldn't decide if the problem was with him or the whole world and its people. Who knows?

Guess I'll find out someday but not today. Now I just to get this stupid warlock's butt to the mall and back here again. How stupid I am agreeing to this stupid proposal! Alec thought to himself.

"Magnus, are you done?" He yelled for the umpteenth time.

"Coming." Came the reply. Soon his boyfried appeared in the doorway. Alec stood up and together they walked out the apartment.

"You needed to change your glitter and your outfit just for going to the mall?" He asked as if he wasn't sure himself.

"Yes." Magnus replied as if it wasn't already obvious.

"What are you? A ten year old dressing up for his theme party?"

"Technically, no ten year olds-"

"Cut the crap. I just realised I don't wanna hear your excuses. Let's just go to the mall. Tell me what things you are gonna need. So I can get some while you pick the others."

"We'll shop together Alec babe." Magnus replied cheerfully.

Ugh there goes it again, the stubborn warlock, Alec muttered to himself, how i wish i had never met him that day in the restaurant. Then all these would never had to happen. He sighed.

Sometimes life gives you a lot of pain. But even though you can't bear it you can't give it up either and neither ignore it. Cause the pain reminds you why you are alive and makes each moment more special.

After forty five shops, eleven angry helpers, four annoyed customers, twenty nine shopping bags full of clothes, shoes, bags, glitters, make-ups Magnus realized he was finally tired and Alec needed a break.

So they both sat down in a cozy little diner that seemed to have more waiters than customers. But all the same Magnus said they made excellent sushi.

"Just curious, what's a sushi?" Alec asked.

Magnus looked up from the menu. His jaw dropped, "What's a sushi! YOU ARE GOING TO BE SOON IN YOUR MID-TWENTIES AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S A SUSHI!!"

Alec looked taken aback, "Hey what's the big deal? It's just a food. I may or may not have eaten it. What is wrong with it anyway?"

Magnus replied slowly as if he was measuring each of his words beofre he lets them slip through his lips, "No there is nothing wrong with it. Of course I should have known better. For a boy who spends his teenage life without a proper relationship ever, sushi is just a simple issue."

"Hey don't you dare insult m-"

"No! I'm just kidding. It's okay. You know I love you.That's why for the record we'll have sushi today for dinner." Magnus replied quickly in order to hide his comments.

"Fine." Alec replied grimly. This was going to be a long night. A night he wished he didn't have to witness ever.

Hey guys!! Yup you guessed it right!! This is half of what happened the night Alec and Magnus had a fight.

And that's why Alec was mad at Magnus but if I'm being honest it was Alec's fault too!*hihi I couldn't leave him totally innocent*

Btw I'm gonna publish the next part on Monday. So who's excited???
