Magnus woke up to find his cute little shadowhunter boyfriend snuggling against him on the bed and sleeping peacefully.
As usual he was snoring slightly. Magnus laughed silently when he remembered how Alec had reacted the first time Magnus had told him about the snores.

Even though they were cute and adorable for Magnus Alec still seemed to freak out at the thought that he snores.

A ray of sunlight was streaming through the bedroom window and fell on the bed.

His eyes was drawn to the light and suddenly a warm feeling washed over his heart to be able to enjoy this moment while being in bed with his sleeping boyfriend.

It was purely heavenly not that Magnus would know how heavenly heaven is. After all he was from the downworld and half demon. But that didn't mean a small moment with a loved one couldn't be pure and simply beautiful.

Oh how I wish I could just freeze this moment like this and remain here with him forever, Magnus thought to himself.

Slowly he moved out of Alec's gripping arms and got up from the bed. He replaced himself with a pillow in Alec's arms so that he could sleep in peacefully for a few hours before he finally heads back to the Institute.

He shuts the door on his way out and puts a charm on it to prevent his cats from getting into the room and disturb Alec.

Magnus was making tea when Alec staggered into the kitchen.

"Morning! How was your sleep last night?" Magnus cheerfully asked his boyfriend.

Alec slouched down on a kitchen tool and replied grimly, "You again replaced yourself with a pillow."

Magnus laughed and said, "I did. And I don't know if it should surprise you or disappoint you but you don't seem to feel it."

Alec shook his head, "Ugh. Whatever. Just don't do it next time."

"Noted."

Magnus came near to his boyfriend and gave him a peck on the lips before Alec could move out of his arms and head towards the bathroom mumbling something along the lines like having morning breath.

After breakfast, Magnus thought Alec would leave but he simply stood in the balcony staring afar.

"I thought you were gonna head back."
The warlock said.

"Why? Do you want me to go?"

"No. Of course not. But you are so busy always. Specially now a days."

Alec laughed, "And you think I can't say the same about you?"

Magnus laughed too, "You can but I work here. At my home whereas you go faraways hunting shadows. Sometimes for days. So technically it's not same you know."

Alec remained silent for a bit before he replied, his lips curving into a smile, "Yeah it is not. But I would like to spend the Sunday with my boyfriend at his home. Do you have anything to say against it?"

"No. I suppose not. But only if you say 'our home'." Magnus corrected him.

"Magnus-" Alec started to say but Magnus cut him off.

"Alexander Lightwood, I'm not as patient as you are. I'm 800 years old and I don't like to repeat myself. SO I'M SAYING IT FOR THE LAST TIME, THIS IS 'OUR HOME' AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE. End of conversation." Magnus said.

Alec smiled at Magnus's stubborn behaviour but didn't protest.

Rather he simply stared at a distance and said, "While growing up as a kid, Izzy and I always wondered what the outside world was like. Mother would never let us leave the Institute. Sometimes when they would take us along to any mission only then we got a chance to see how outside world felt like. Which was also once or twice a month. This kinda changed when Jace arrived. My parents took an instant liking to Jace and trusted him very much. From then we started to go outside more often. Alone. Even though I was the older one mother considered Jace the responsible one always. I wish she knew the problems we used to get into for Jace!"

Alec laughed at the old memories.

It wasn't every day Alec Lightwood went into sentimental mood. So when he did Magnus didn't comment or say anything.
Besides he was very eager to listen to the childhood memories of his boyfriend.

After all Magnus didn't even know what childhood felt like. He spend all his childhood figuring out who he was and his powers.

Before he even knew he had passed the phase every child plays with toys and hangs out with fellow schoolmates & friends while he was playing with his life and his powers in the cruel downworld.

Alec continued, "Sometimes when I look down from this balcony it all feels so small from up here. Not just only the people or the mundane things but everything of our lives too, the uncertainty that we live in, the fears that we feel, our hopes, our dreams, our lies all feels so trifle. I know it sounds crazy but the only that matters to me then is that I'm alive and I'm here with you."

Alec looked at Magnus with eyes full of tears and tried to smile but in vain.

The tears drops fell on his jacket and started to roll down.

Magnus came close and hold Alec's face in his hands and said, "I always think the same everytime I look at you. You are the shadow to my light Alexander. You mean the life to me. My life has never meant so much to me before I met you. But ever since all I remember is how much I crave to be with you every moment every day of my life. And I'm grateful for that."

Magnus wiped away Alec's tears and kissed him. Even though it was a sloppy kiss since Alec still kept crying, when they have finally pulled away

Alec felt his heart feeling a lot lighter than before. He was glad that he had been able to express his feelings to Magnus and let him know how much he means to him.

On the otherhand, Magnus was getting nervous each second. He was still holding Alec's face in his hands while Alec smiled beautifully and sniffed his nose.

Magnus felt this was the right time to say it but he didn't wanna mess it up not for Alec.

What if he isn't ready to hear it?! What id he doesn't feel that way yet?! What if he doesn't say anything in exchange?! Thoughts seem to crowd Magnus's head and he failed to see clearly what he should do.

Suddenly as if Rangnor Fell was there, he heard his voice, "You know my friend I always told you and I'll tell you once again, if you truly love him you must fight for him, you must fight for your love. You must tell him how you feel. Even if he doesn't say anything you should wait. Because you love him and you bared your heart to him. He is bound to love you back someday."

So Magnus went for it. He took his lips near to Alec's ears and whispered, "Aku Cinta Kamu."

Alec was surprised. What does it mean? He said, "Sorry?"

"I love you, Alexander Lightwood." Came the reply.

Alec was stunned at the sudden revelation.

He was silent for a complete minute before he whispered back, "I love you too, Magnus Bane."
