Damon's Fried Brain

Living room.

Sybil looked at Damon " You weren't kidding. It's all fire and brimstone in here. This is gonna be a lot more complicated than I thought."

She turned to us "Okay, here's the deal. Consciously, Damon believes that he is in hell."

Caroline "What?"

Sybil "For some reason, Damon thinks that's where he belongs."

Caroline "Well, how do we change his mind?"

Sybil " Well, that's a question only Damon can answer. So I suggest you go in there and ask him yourself. Once you figure out what's holding him back, I should be able to repair the damage."

Me " We already tried going inside his head. He threw us out "

Sybil walked behind him and put her hands on each side of his head" Yeah, that's because you went through the front door. But lucky for you, I can get you in through the back... into his subconscious. All right ladies, grab on."

Caroline and i looked at each other. She grabbed one hand and i grabbed one.

Inside Damon's head. Salvatore house.

I looked around. We were outside my house. 

Caroline "Guess the inside of Damon's head looks a whole lot like the outside. "

Me "Shouldn't take long."

We walked inside.

There was a guy at the counter. He was wearing a suit.

He turned to us " Good morning, welcome to the Salvatore Boarding House. Do you have a reservation, ladies?"

I raised an eyebrow " Do we need one?"

Henry nodded " I'm afraid so, the house is at maximum occupancy."

I raised an eyebrow "We're looking for Damon Salvatore."

Henry " Well, that's easy. He's right behind you."

He pointed at something behind us.

We turned aroud my jaw dropped. There was a painting of Damon when he was human.

Me "This is gonna take a while"

Henry "Mr. Salvatore was a bit of a hero during the war."

We turned to him.

Caroline " Yeah, we know all about that, but where is he right now?"

Henry " You do understand I mean the Civil War?"

Me "You're Henry, right. Damon told me he saved your life during the War, so where is he?"

Henry" I'm going to have to ask you both to leave. Now!"

Back to reality. 

I opened my eyes "damn it!"

Sybil"What was that about?"

Me "How the hell are we suppose to know that?"

Sybil" Well, what did Damon say?"

Caroline"He didn't say anything because he wasn't there."

Sybil shook her head confused " That's impossible, it's his mind."

Me" You're the one that did this to him so un-impossible it. Fast!"

Sybil" Believe me, I'm trying, but if you guys can't find Damon then there's nothing I can do."
