"Enzo!!"

I was sitting at a table with a drink in my hand. I haven't heard from Damon and that's slowly starting to freak me out. I mean i can take Damon easily down but him and i are good now so i don't want that. Not at all.

I was starring at the brown liquid in my glass when i heard someone sitting down in front of me.

I looked up "I only wanna hear the good news, man"

Damon "Plan B didn't work. We need a plan C."

I raised an eyebrow "What was wrong with plan B?"

Damon " Well, apparently the devil can't be killed. At least not if you rip his heart out. Or set him on fire."

I put the drink on the table and looked at him " I thought you said you weren't gonna try anything stupid."

Damon " When did I ever promise that? Listen, in my defense, he did both of those things to himself. Bastard's tougher than he looks. Guess after 4,000 years, he's learned a trick or two."

Me "He's immortal."

Damon nodded " Mm-hmm."

I suddenly got an idea and he's not gonna like it.

I smirked.

Damon "i know that smirk. That smirk means that won't like your idea, doesn't it?"

I nodded.

Damon "anything is better than nothing"

Me "There's one thing that can turn immortals mortal."

Damon looked at me confused. I could literally see his brain work from were i was sitting.

Suddenly he shook his head "No. No, no, no, no. The cure is off the table. I'm not risking my future with Elena."

I rolled my eyes ""kill or be killed", Damon, i'm sure you've heard of that. All we need to do is capture Cade-"

Damon pressed out "You're talking about the devil here."

Me "We give him the cure, he becomes mortal. Then someone else will take his blood. That'll make him age 4,000 years and then shrivel into dust. Problem solved"

Damon " You realize if you take the cure out of Elena's body, that little vial is our one and only dose. And we're not even sure it'll work on Cade."

Me " This is our best chance to get Stefan back. You want that as much as i do, and you kno that"

Damon shook his head " No, it's what YOU want. You know what I want? I want to fix my brother, I want to get rid of the devil, and I want my future with Elena. But I am not becoming human while she sleeps for decades."

Me "You won't have to take the cure right away."

Damon raised an eyebrow "what?"

Me "Enzo will take it from Cade, and years from now, you can take it from Enzo."

Damon asked confused " Enzo? Enzo? What..."

I sighed "Bonnie asked him. He said yes. They were going to tell you."

Damon hissed " Before or after they stole it from me?"

Me "It doesn't belong to you. It is in Elena's blood. She would want to save all of us, and you know it. Anyway, I've done the math. It can work."

Damon "How can you be so sure?"

Me " It's not about being sure. It's about using what we've got. Unless you have a plan D."
