Another two days went by, and things were still calm. Steve still called me every day, and checked on me. Things were going good so far.
I was sitting in the living room, relaxing again. Then, there was a knock at Sam's front door. Sam went and answered it. Then, not too long after, Steve walked into the room.
"Honey!" I said, happily.
"Jessy, sweetheart!" Steve said, happily.
I ran up to Steve, and jumped into his arms. Steve and I were so happy to see each other.
"I missed you so much, sweetheart" Steve said.
"I missed you so much too, babe" I said.
Steve kissed me, as he held me in his arms. I was so happy that Steve was home, safe and sound. Later on, Steve and I took a shower together. Then, we sat down at the table, with Sam and Natasha.
"Hey man, I just want to sat thank you, for letting my wife stay here. Also, for letting us stay here too" Steve said.
"Hey, it's no problem. That's what friends are for, they look out for each other" Sam said.
"So, what did you run into?" I asked.
"Well, all we know is that Hydra has compromised Shield, and the Winter Soldier is a member of Hydra" Natasha said.
"And, Alexander Pierce is the leader" Steve said.
Then, Sam pulled out a file, and placed it on the table.
"What is this?" Steve asked.
"Remember how I said, that I was a para-rescue man for the USAF" Sam said.
"This is the file that you've told me about" Steve said.
"Yeah it is. I want to help you, in any way that I can" Sam said.
"What's this?" Natasha asked, as she pointed to what Sam was wearing, in a photo.
"That's my falcon pack. It's high powered of course" Sam said.
"Well, who should we talk to first?" Natasha asked.
"Jasper Sitwell, he is also a member of Hydra. He'll know something" Steve said.
"Then, that's where we start" Sam said.
Everything was set and ready to go. I was going to stay close to Steve, the whole time.
