Steve and I came home from the hospital, about two days later. We were both still healing up a little, but we were feeling better. I kept my arm in a sling for a while.
A week went by, and my arm had fully healed. I had taken my arm out of the sling. Steve had fully healed up too. Things were going great, for Steve and I.
We were at the cemetery, looking at the fake grave of Nick Fury. I still couldn't believe that he was alive. Nick Fury went into hiding, and Natasha had to take care of some things. Now, it was just me, Steve, and Sam at the cemetery.
Steve began to look through a file, that Natasha had given him. It was a file about Bucky Barnes (Steve's best friend) also known as The Winter Soldier.
"I'm going after him" Steve said.
"I'm going with you" Sam said.
"I'm coming with you too babe" I said.
"Honey, I don't want you to get hurt" Steve said.
Steve placed his hand on my cheek, and kissed my forehead.
"I'll be fine babe. You'll be there to keep me safe" I said.
"That's right honey. I'll always keep you safe" Steve said.
"I know you always will, babe" I said.
Steve kissed me, and he wrapped his arms around me. Then, my phone started to ring. I pulled it out of my pocket, and answered it. It was my dad.
"Hey dad" I greeted.
"Hey sweetie, how are you?" My dad asked me.
"I'm good. What's up?" I asked.
"I need to talk to your husband. Is Steve around?" My dad asked.
"Yeah, hold on" I said.
I handed the phone to Steve, and he put it up to his ear.
"Hey Stark" Steve greeted.
While Steve and my dad talked on the phone, Same came up to me.
"Is everything okay?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, my dad wanted to talk to Steve about something" I said.
"Oh, the famous Tony Stark" Same said, chuckling.
"Yeah, that's my dad" I said, also chuckling.
"Hey, if you and Steve need anything, let me know" Sam said.
"We will. Thank you for everything, Sam" I said.
"Hey, you and Steve are like family to me. We look out for each other" Sam said.
Then, Steve gave my phone back to me, and he put his arm around me.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Your dad needs us to come to New York" Steve said.
"Is everything alright?" I asked.
"There are some things with that Avengers, that need to be taken care of. They need my help" Steve said.
"What about Barnes?" Sam asked.
"Hold off on that for now. I'll contact you once this has been taken care of" Steve said.
"Got it, captain" Sam said.
Sam said goodbye, and walked away. Steve and I held hands, as we walked out of the cemetery.
"So when do we leave for New York?" I asked.
"As soon as possible, sweetheart" Steve said.
"Alright honey, let's go" I said.
"Off to New York" Steve said.
It was time for another mission with the Avengers. I was going to New York with Steve. I was supporting Steve, my wonderful husband, and my Captain America. Always.
