A few days went by, and Steve had to go on a mission. Steve was working with Shield's Counter Terrorism Strike team, to track down a villain, who was holding some hostages from Shield. I stayed at the apartment, while Steve was on his mission. About two days later, Steve came back from his mission.
It was a sunny afternoon outside. Steve and I were spending the day together. We were walking around the city, checking it out. Washington DC was a big city.
Steve and I were now in a museum, to which it was a history museum. It had some historical information about Steve, and him being Captain America. It was interesting to read.
There was also some historical information about James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes. He was Steve's best friend, ever since he was a kid. Bucky was his nickname, and he was killed during a mission during World War II. Steve had told me, all about his friend Bucky, a long time ago.
There was a lot of history from the war, that Steve had remembered. It was all over the museum. Steve and I watched a video, of a woman who spoke about Steve, and he saved lives as Captain America. The woman's name was Peggy Carter. Steve had known her too, and worked with her during the war.
Steve and I left the museum, shortly after. We climbed on to Steve's motorcycle.
"Where are we going, babe?" I asked.
"I'm taking you to meet a friend. Is that okay, honey?" Steve asked me.
"Yes babe, that's fine" I said.
Steve started up his motorcycle, and we rode off. I held on to Steve tightly, as we rode to our destination. I was curious, to where exactly, that we were going.
(Some time later)
Steve and I were now walking down a hallway, of an elderly folk home. We came up to a room, and walked inside. There was an elderly woman, laying in a bed. She turned and looked at us.
"Steve" The woman said.
"Hey Peggy" Steve said.
"It's been so long" Peggy said.
"It has" Steve said.
Wait, was this Peggy? Peggy Carter?
"Peggy, this is my wife, Jessy" Steve said.
Peggy held out her hand, as she laid in her bed. I walked up to her, and took her hand.
"Honey, this is Peggy Carter. The woman that I used to work with during the war" Steve said.
"It's nice to finally meet you" I said, smiling at her.
"It's nice to meet you too" Peggy said.
Steve and I sat and visited with Peggy. I glad to finally meet Peggy. She was a very sweet lady.
Later on, Steve and I rode back to our apartment. It was now nighttime outside. Steve and I ran into our neighbor, on the way up to our apartment. It was a woman who was doing laundry.
"Hey, did you guys leave your music player on, while you were gone?' The neighbor asked us.
"No, we didn't" Steve said.
"Well, I came out here, and heard music playing in your apartment" The neighbor said.
"Oh, thanks for the heads up" Steve said.
The neighbor went downstairs, carrying her laundry. Then, we heard the music playing inside the apartment. What was going on?
