Steve and I were now standing on the outside balcony. Steve opened up a window, and climbed into our apartment. Steve helped me climb inside through the window. The music still played throughout the apartment. Steve grabbed his shield, and looked at me.
"Stay here, honey" Steve said.
I nodded, and stayed in the hallway, close to the kitchen. Steve held up his shield and walked quietly into the living room. I peeked around the corner, and saw Nick Fury sitting in the chair, by the music player. Nick Fury had turned on the music. Steve stopped and lowered his shield. Nick Fury was injured.
"What seems to be the issue?" Steve asked.
"Nick, are you okay?" I asked.
"Well, as you can see...." Nick Fury said, as he pulled out his phone.
Nick's phone had a message on it. The message said "Ears Everywhere". What was happening?
"Who is listening?" Steve asked.
Nick showed us a different message on his phone. This message said "Shield Compromised" on the phone. What did that mean? Steve pulled me close to him, and held up his shield a little bit.
"Well, I don't see why that you would need to show up here" Steve said.
"You needed to know" Nick Fury said.
Nick stood up and put his phone in his pocked. Then, all of the sudden, gun shots were fired, to which Nick Fury was shot, a couple of times.
I hid behind Steve, as Steve held up his shield, when the gun shots fired. Nick Fury had fallen to the floor, once the shots had stopped firing. Steve lowered his shield and pulled Nick into the hallway. I stayed close to the wall, in the hallway. Nick Fury handed a flash drive to Steve.
"Nobody to trust" Nick Fury said.
Nick Fury fell unconscious. Then, someone came busting in through the front door. It was the neighbor, to which she was holding up a gun.
"I'm Agent 13, from SHIELD" The neighbor said.
"What?" Steve asked.
"I was hired by Nick Fury, to protect you and your wife" Agent 13 said.
"Jessy, honey, are you alright?" Steve asked me.
"I'm okay, baby" I said.
Then, Agent 13 called Shield and reported the shooting. Steve looked out of the window, and saw the shooter outside.
"Honey, stay here, you'll be safe" Steve said.
"I love you" I said.
"I love you too" Steve said.
Steve kissed me, and he held up his shield.
"I'm going after the shooter. Protect my wife, until I get back" Steve said.
Steve jumped out of the window, and landed in the next building. He chased the shooter.
"There are medics on the way here" Agent 13 said.
"What do you need me to do?" I asked.
"You need to come with me to the hospital. I'll have Captain Rogers meet us there" I said.
"Alright" I said.
The medics showed up, not too long after. I rode with Agent 13 to the hospital. Steve was going to meet us there. I was worried about Steve
