I was being rushed inside the hospital. Sam, Natasha, and Nick Fury had to wait in the waiting room. As they were rushing me in to the emergency room, another gurney came rushing up next to mine. Holy Shit! It was Steve. He had been injured.
"Steve, Babe!" I said.
"Jessy....Sweetheart" Steve said, softly.
Steve grabbed my hand.
"What happened?" I asked.
The Winter Soldier, Bucky, we fought" Steve said.
"Honey, I'm worried" I said.
"I love you sweetheart. Everything is going to be alright" Steve said.
"I love you too honey" I said.
The doctors rushed Steve into an operating room. I was also taken into the surgery. Then, my eyes closed and everything went black.
(Some time later)
I woke up sometime later, in the recovery room. My arm had a bandage wrapped around it, and it was also in a sling. The nurse noticed that I was awake.
"How are you feeling?" The nurse asked me.
"My arm is sore. Where's Steve?" I asked.
"Steve, your husband, he just got out of surgery. He's okay" The nurse said.
The nurse took me in a hospital room. My arm was very sore.
"The bullet was removed from your arm. The doctor wants you to stay in the hospital for two days, to keep en eye on your arm" The nurse explained.
"When can I see my husband?" I asked.
"When he wakes up, and is fully conscious, I'll bring him to you" The nurse said.
The nurse walked out of the room. I really wanted Steve by my side, and I would see him soon.
(Some more time later)
Hours later, the nurse brought Steve into my room. The nurse walked out of the room.
"Steve, Honey!" I said, happily and softly.
Steve stood up slowly, leaned over, and kissed me. Then, Steve climbed into my hospital bed with me, and pulled the covers over us. Steve wrapped his arm around me, and gazed into my eyes.
"Honey, are you okay?" Steve asked me.
"I'm sore, but I'm okay. Are you alright?" I asked him.
"Just glad that you're safe, and in my arms honey" Steve said.
I started to cry. Steve wiped my tears off of my face.
"It's alright honey. I'm here with you, we are both safe now" Steve said.
"I love you so much babe" I said.
"I love you so much too honey. Always and forever" Steve said.
"Always and forever babe" I said.
Steve kissed me, and he held me in his arms. I was so glad that Steve and I were both safe, and in each other's arms.
