"I don't give a damn.""You give so many damns its visible from SPACE." Blaise whispered under his breath.
"Blaise I heard that. Cant you just let me pretend it doesn't bother me that Potter is ignoring me?" Draco shot back.
"As your friend I refuse to help you fuel your fantasies about Potter. Why don't you just go up to him and tell him that you like him?"
"Because Blaise its not that easy. I cant just go up to him and say 'Hey Potter I know we have hated each other for a long time, but i really like you. Wanna bang some time?'" Draco looked at Blaise as if he was nuts.
"I think thats a good way to tell him. Just leave out the wanna bang part, also Pansy's coming." Blaise sat up straight and shoved his face into his book.
"Hello boys, what were you guy just talking about?" She greeted as she plopped herself down in the seat next to Blaise.
"Oh just the usual Potter infatuation." Blaise teased looking bored.
Draco scowled at him, "Shut up Blaise."
"Doesn't Potter usually go out for stroll around the school at night? Draco you're still a prefect, so you can use that to run into Potter when he is alone," Pansy plotted, "And if you catch him alone you can finally make a move on him."
"Pansy you are so good if I weren't gay I might make a move on you instead," Draco got up from his seat and kissed her on the cheek.

It was currently somewhere around 11 o'clock and Draco had seen no signs of Potter wandering the halls. Draco knew Potter would be under his invisibility cloak, but he wasn't the stealthiest person. Just then footsteps could be heard.
"Potter," he called and the footsteps suddenly stopped, "I know its you and your cloak."
The boy in question appeared right in front of Draco.
"Malfoy," Harry nodded in his direction, "Not going to take away house points or shout to Filch that Im out after curfew."
"Nah I'll give it a break. So where are you coming from?" Draco leaned against the stone window sill.
Harry was shocked. Malfoy was trying to have a conversation with him that didn't involve insults. He decided to go with it because is was nice to finally have a regular conversation with the blond boy.
"I was visiting Hagrid. What are you doing out here so late?" Harry followed Malfoy's lead and leaned against the window sill next to him.
"Well I was waiting for you," He said softly and then snorted, "Obviously its because im a prefect."
"Oh come off it Malfoy," He laughed while he shoved the other boys' shoulder with his.
"But seriously Potter I think we should resolve all of the conflict that we have and become friends." There it was Draco putting himself out there.
"Alright, but you cant call Hermione that vile name anymore and give Ron some slack."
"Umm....Ok then you cant call my friends bad names either."
"Yeah Malfoy that is sorta what I was implying and how about we call each other by first names now," Harry held his hand out to Draco.
"Sounds like a deal, Harry." He took Harrys hand.
"My first name sounds so weird coming from you because you've always called me Potter, Draco."
Hearing his first name come from Harry's mouth sent chills down his spine. How could someone make him feel like a million bucks by just saying his name. Draco at this moment knew he was in trouble. He, Draco Lucius Malfoy, was in love with Harry Potter. This was terrible because someone like Potter didn't just fall in love with someone like Draco.
