"EVERYONE OUT EXEPT YOU," yelled Madam Pomfrey as she pointed at Harry, "What happened to Mr. Malfoy that he comes to me in such a condition?"

"I-I don't know. I think he was hit buy a bludger. We were chasing the snitch and then all of a sudden he was falling, it all happened so fast."

The minute Harry finished she dismissed him and began tending to the unconscious blond on the hospital bed. From what harry could see Draco was bleeding from his forehead and his arm seemed to be bent at an odd angle. The sight sent a chill down Harrys spine for some strange reason it hurt him to see Draco that way.

"Mr. potter you can leave now unless you too need medical attention." The matron said without even turning around.

Harry reluctantly took his eyes off of the beaten blond and walked out of the room. With his mind in a distant place harry let his feet take him to the Gryffindor common room. The painting swung open as he reached it and out came Ron and Hermione.

"HARRY! That was a crazy game, good job catching the snitch before Malfoy," Ron said as he jumped out and gave Harry a hug.

The excited redhead still had red and gold paint on his face. Hermione stood by watching with a small smile on her face and worry on her brow.

"So Harry how is Malfoy?" Hermione's brow furrowed more with the question.

"Well Mione the last time I saw him was when they brought him to Madam Pomfrey and he looked pretty beat up. He was bleeding from his head and his arm was messed up." Harry tried to sound indifferent because he didn't want his friends to know how worried he was about the blond.

"Well Harry it sounds like it may take a while before he is all healed so that gives at least a couple days that you won't have to deal with him." Hermione stated.

The trio agreed that lunch sounded great at the moment considering that it was getting late into the afternoon. The Gryffindor table was lined with its endless buffet as usual and they each filled their plates with sandwiches and light snacks. Harry didn't quite have an appetite because all he could feel was the sinking feeling in his stomach. He couldn't bring himself to stuff his stomach like he would usually do so he just settled for a ham and cheese sandwich.

"Mate you should really eat more," Ron suggested as he stuffed more food into his mouth.

The thought of how Ron could fit as much food in his body as he did truly baffled Harry. The redhead was so lanky but he ate enough food to be four times the weight he was. The trio must have sat in the great hall for about a little more than a half an hour before they decided to head back to their common room. They settled down in front of the fire; Ron and Hermione in one chair and Harry in another. Harry and Ron played exploding snaps as Hermione read a thick leather bound book. After about the fifth game Harry decided to call a quits.

"Okay okay I suck at this game, Ron I think I'm done for the night." Harry declared as he set his cards down.

"Aw come on mate cant take the beating."

Harry thought about how ready to go to bed he was as he made his way up the steps to the boys dormitories. The dorm was empty and quiet which was a good place for Harry to think. He changed into his pajamas and sat in his bed thinking about all the days events. Malfoy. Harrys mind just kept going back to the thoughts of Malfoy bleeding and unconscious from the fall. He needed to go see Malfoy just to see if he was okay, just to get those terrible images out of his head.

Harry pulled out his invisibility cloak and walked down the steps and out of the common room. Harry felt almost invincible under the protection of the cloak where no one could see him. The dark halls were cold and silent. Any noise that Harry made would be heard by whoever was patrolling at the moment and he really didn't want to get caught. As he was nearing the door to the infirmary he could feel his heart pounding. He didn't know why he was so nervous. Slowly he pushed the door open and walked in.
