New Beginnings

Chapter 7

She was hidden in plain sight. She was in Robert's house. She was not going to escape this time by herself. She knew the house but she also knew Robert. He had changed the place so it would not be so easy to escape. She was for sure of this and she knew if he wants her, he was not alone.

"I have been stalking you ever since that day. I have been waiting for my moment when you felt safe. That way your guard was down enough. This was easier than I thought. Of course you know I had helped to get you. It is not Laura. That witch would not help me even when I told her what could happen. No I had my buddy William taken you. He is bigger than me but, he is quieter then I could have been." Robert said as he watched.

"I knew you would not accept this. I knew that night it was not the end. You knew I would get scared and you just waited until you knew I was alone. I don't love you. I never did I just was waiting for someone to save me from you. Yes you did scared one time. Chris has me thinking I am stronger than I ever knew. All you did was hurt and abused me. Chris does not want to hurt me and he does not want to be like you. I hate you. The only reason I am here because you could not let go of me. I bet Laura would not help you because she found out how low you are. I would call you dirt bag but then it would offend all of those other dirt bags out there." Brittany said as she tries to break free.

"William, make sure she is tied up good. I don't want her to trying to escape. Even she tried she would not get far. I have put a fence around here now. Thanks to you I had to change the plans around here. I want you see what he was doing. Chris is not the angel you think he is. He is hiding secrets. I bet he told he was a police officer at one time. The problem is I was one of lower end of the killer that did that to him. I guess you could say I was in training. The scar on his right arm is where I stab him." Robert said.

"Boss, are you sure you want to tell her that?" William said

"Yeah I want her to know why Chris had to retired from the force. It was because of what we did to him. Chris knew me that night because what happened. He made fun of me when I tripped. I want to hit you just because of it. Instead I want him to hurt like you hurt me." Robert said.

"Okay boss, she is tied up. I hope she does not want to move much. I got her double knotted. I just want to know why you are doing this." William said as he went to Robert.

"I will get out of here. I will find a way to escape. If not Lisa and Chris will be here to save me." She said as she wiggles.

"Even if they are, they would have to pass William and my other guys." Robert said.

"Boss I am only one here. The others left when they hear what you were going to do. I am only here because I have no place to go." He whispers to Robert.

Robert looked at him with what the kind of look. William backed up because of it.

While they were talking softly, Brittany wiggles. Laura saw her through a crack between the curtains. She knew she was going to let Chris know where she was. Even if Brittany does not trust her she was going to for it to work.

"Hey Chris, I know you don't want to hear from me. I know where Brittany is at right now. She is being held by Robert and one of his dumb friends. They are at his house. I am going to see if I can help her. Maybe you will find forgiveness after this for me. I had to go because they don't know I am here." She texted Chris and silence her phone.

Laura goes around to front. She knocked on the door and prepared for something to say. Robert answers the door. When he saw it was Laura. He opens the door.

"I heard from little birdie that you have Brittany. Let me see because I know they could be wrong." Laura said trying to make sound like she did not know.
