Chris went out after Brittany. They were heading to the mountain. Brittany did not know this. She thought they were going to ride. She was packed, but it was because she was going to a hotel or something. Chris had planned to take her to his cabin in the mountains. He wanted her to see the mountains. She has never been there, and it was the perfect way to get her out. He knew she would be happy when she saw it. She fell asleep, so he decides to be quiet. He cut the music down so she could sleep. When he stops for a moment, he grabbed the blanket from the back. He put it over her so she would not get cold. She woke up for a second then went back to sleep. Chris was watching the road and keep an eye on her. She did not move much. As he stops for a moment again, she wakes up. She realized that she went to sleep. As she looked around, she noticed that they were not in the city anymore.
"Oh hey beautiful, you are awake," Chris said.
"Yeah, where are we?" Brittany said.
"Okay, the truth is we are going to the mountains for couple days. I got up a cabin up there. I thought it was nice to get away from the city and all of that. That is why I ask Victoria to stay there with Lisa. I knew it would take to get if something happened." Chris said
Brittany's face lit up. She had never been to the mountains. She wanted to see the sunset and see how beautiful it is up there. Chris just smiles. As they got to the cabin, she looks out the window. Chris just laughs. It was like a child at the candy store. She looks so innocent.
When they got to cabin, Chris parked the car. Brittany got out and looked around. Chris goes to unlocked the door. She just looks at the cabin. Chris grabbed the bags, and Brittany closed the door. She looked around, and Chris took it to his room.
"Hey baby, come up here," Chris said
Brittany went up the wood stairs to his bedroom. He points towards the window. She went to the window. She looked out, and she was just so happy. Chris just came up behind her. He looked out to nature outside. She just laid back on him. He decides he needs to get the rest of the stuff. He let go of her. She turned around.
"Did I do something? You just let go of me." Brittany said
"No beautiful, I need to get the rest and lock the truck. I will be right back. If you want to you can stay up here." Chris said
Chris went to rest of the stuff. She looked out the window. She was just so happy. When Chris brought the stuff into his room, she was still looking out.
"So where am I going to stay?" Brittany asked
"Really, you know you are here with me," Chris said
"Oh so like we have been doing at home," Brittany said
"Yes, baby," Chris said
Brittany looked at him and went to hug him. She grabbed him and held on. She was about to lose it, and Chris felt it coming. Chris just held her as she started. He ran his finger through her hair. He knew she needs to. Chris hope he did not do something wrong.
"Sorry I am just happy. This is a beautiful place, and I have never been in the cabin or to the mountains." Brittany explained
"It is good. We need this since what has happened recently. I figure that Robert would not be able to get you here." Chris said as he unpacked.
"Speaking of that asshole, I need to tell you something. If I lose it, please hold me." Brittany said as she got on the bed.
Chris went to the bed and put his arms around her. She looked right at him. She was trying to say something, but she stumbles.
