New Beginnings

Chapter 9

Victoria was there within 15 minutes. Chris got up and let her in. he let Victoria take the chair. He saw that Brittany was scared. He felt like he better hold her in case it gets bad. He sits down and put his arm around her. She moved closer to Chris. He just played with her ear. It was weird but it kept her calm before. Chris looked at Victoria as she was sitting there.

"You know that Laura has been helping you. She is not actually that innocent. She is playing what they called a double agent. She is helping you but she is also been seen helping Robert. William is one of his men. She is with him in effort to pass information to Robert. That is why you need to be clear when you are with or around her. She is up to something. You remember LeAnn was the same way. She went bad side when you left her that one time. I think she is hiding something." Victoria said as she pushed her hair back.

Brittany then realized who it was and she knew it would be okay. She had seen her when she was still blonde. Victoria must have changed her hair to brown after the problems with her ex-boyfriend. She recognized her green eyes when she did that. Brittany just looked at Chris as he hangs his head. He knew something was wrong when Laura just happened to be there and William just happened to be there. It was set up for them. She left Robert alive for a reason. She just played all of them. Lisa came in back about that time. She saw Victoria and thought something was wrong.

"Hey Lisa, you remember me?" Victoria said

"Yes, you look like different but yes I remember you." Lisa said

"I was just telling Chris about Laura. She has been hiding many secrets. I was telling him and Brittany about what I have found." Victoria said to her.

"I knew we could not trust her. I had my reason and I guess I was right. She was hiding something. Now I know that she is playing us. It is time to figure what we are going to do about this." Lisa said.

Lisa handed the paper bags to Brittany. She took them to her room. The ladies knew what it was and Chris had an idea. She came back and goes right to where she was doing.

"Awe, that is so cute. I cannot believe that this girl loves you. Y'all have not known each other that long." Victoria said.

"Yeah well she was broken spirit looking for a home. I was someone looking for somewhere I belong." Chris said.

Brittany lends up and kisses him on the cheek. She just could not believe Chris said that. It just made Brittany believe Chris that he understood more then she originally thought. Chris just tickles her and she let out a scream. Chris remembers overhearing that she is ticklish. She accidently hit Chris. He knew this could happen so he just smiles.

"Yes it is like he has something make me feel whole again. Robert just tries to break and hurt me. Chris is trying to help find the pieces and put them back in place. He knows that it will take time but he is being patient. I know that I made the right choice." Brittany said to them.

Chris just hugged her and Victoria just looked at him.

"Okay we know that Robert is still alive and in search of her. Laura is working both sides which are not good thing. I mean we could possibly set them both up. We are going to work together for this to work. We need to make sure it would help not further hurt what we was going to do." Chris said.

Victoria went to the bathroom. Lisa and Brittany looked at Chris. They looked like they don't know why he trusted her. They had a stare off until Chris came in. he knew this was going to get ugly if he did not do something. Brittany looked at Chris and there go the stare off. Lisa looked at her and then him.

"I know you don't trust her. She had not told lies to me before. I have my suspicions about Laura. She had been acting differently. I think Robert has something to do with it. I want to think she is just jealously and it is not that she has been this bad before. It is just what she did to Brittany could have been worse." Chris said.
