"You are my squishy and i shall call you my squishy." I laughed at my two year old son, Yuwan, and and pinched his cheeks. Jimin, my husband, and i had a child soon after we got married. We couldn't love him more. Although Jimin was gone a lot, somehow Yuwan was really close to him but it was cute.
"When will daddy be home?" Yuwan wined and sat on my lap. "Im not sure buddy but lets hope its soon!" I smiled at him while ruffling his hair. He giggled like crazy as we found something to watch.
*A few hours later*
"Yuwan its time for bed." I said knowing he would be sad he didn't get to see his father today.
Yuwan looked down and walked to his room. I knew he was sad but there was nothing we could do. I followed him into his room and helped him get dressed for bed and tucked him in. "Will daddy be home tomorrow ?" He asked hopefully. "I dont know buddy. Goodnight, sleep well. We are going to meet your friends tomorrow." I said turning off his light and walking to the living room.
I sat down and tried to relax and eventually fell asleep.
All of the sudden i was being picked up and carried somewhere. I opened my eyes to see Jimin caring me to our room. "Your home" i said happily.
" Oh sorry Shanika, I didn't mean to wake you up" Jimin said with a small laugh. He set me down on my side of the bed and pulled the covers over me. "Why are you home so late?" i asked. "We were really busy with other stuff that we didn't have any practice time so me and Hobi went to do practice and we didn't realize what time it was when we got done." He said lying down next to me with a huff.
I turned to look at him and he turned to look at me. He just looked so squishy...So thats where Yuwan gets it. I smiled and pinched his cheeks.
"You are my squishy and i shall call you my squishy" I laughed and continued to pinch his cheeks lightly. he soon tried slapping my hand away and it worked. "Bad squishy". I laughed again
"DADDY" Yuwan yelled jumping on our bed and snuggling up to his dad. "Hey Yuwan how was your day?" Jimin asked "It was good but im tired...can i sleep with you guys" he asked. JImin looked at me and i nodded in approval. "I guess you can" Jimin said. Yuwan pulled the overs over himself and fell asleep right away. I looked to Jimin But he was asleep too.
"Cute.....and squishy" I said drifting off to sleep soon after.
