"Princess Laci, There has been a hiring of a new stable boy. He will be your new riding teacher" My 'supervisor' said. She then proceeded on with telling me the rest of the news for this boring kingdom. I nodded here and there as if i was listening. Truly i wanted to be on my horse thousands of miles away from here.
"Im going to the stables, to meet the new stable boy" I said interrupting her. She looked at me like i had broken a rule as i skipped down the hall to my bedroom.
"Oh why does she have to be so... so annoying?" I questioned myself as i put on a par of riding pants and an over-sized sweatshirt. I then walked out of my room and past the conference room i had previously been in.
"Miss Laci, I dare say" Miss adviser started.
"Charlotte calm down. Its not like anything new is going to happen. Im bored so im going to ride my horse" I said walking past her and down the back staircase. This staircase in certain led to the kitchen. Most of the time only the servants used them.
"Good morning Princess how are you?" my best friend Jisso asked. "Im great! And you?" I returned, grabbing an apple and a bowl of Suga cubes (HEHEHE).
"Tired" She replied "What would you like for lunch today?" "On surprise me" I answered with a small smirk. She smiled and nodded. I then proceeded towards the the stable doors.
"Have fun" Jisso called after me. i gave a small giggle only i could hear, and approached the back door of the stables.
As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted with a smile. The new stable boy?
"Hello, Im laci. I assume you are the new stable boy?" I said.
The boy nodded and looked down shyly. "Im Jimin, its nice to meet you princess." I smiled at how cute he was.
"Well Jimin, its nice to meet you too. I hope we can be good friends." I smiled towards him. He looked back with a smile as well. "You are very kind, princess. Most people i have worked for are rude and annoying"
"Well not me. I would rather be friends with the people around me rather then secret enemies" i said walking up to River, my horse, and stroking his muzzle. I opened his stable and fed him some sugar cubes.
"Your horse is very beautiful" Jimin said as he brushed through another horses mane. I nodded, "He is quite the beauty" I said patting River's back. River neighed in response.
"Who is the apple for?" Jimin asked "Me" i responded, taking a bite out of it. He nodded and continued cleaning the horse he had been working with.
"I was thinking about going for a ride, do you wanna come" I asked. I didn't want Jimin to feel so much like an outsider. I now also considered him a friend. "You wouldn't want to be seen with me... it could start some bad rumors" He said.
"Please Please Please... if anyone asks we can make up an excuse or something! You're my friend now! i wanna do cool friend stuff with my super cool new friend!!" I begged. He stopped brushing his horse and looked at me.
"Were friends?" Jimin asked. I nodded "Now come on, get your horse ready. I have this place i want to show" I said excitedly. He nodded in bafflement.
*TIME SKIOP*
On our way to where i was bringing Jimin, we talked and asked each other a lot of questions. One of them being how I became Princess and how i really didnt enjoy it and why. Another one being what Jimins life was before he worked as a stable boy.
We laughed quiet a bit along our journey and soon we made it to a (I DONT KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE IT BUT ITS THE PICTURE AT THE TOP)
"Wow" He said in aw. "I've been all over, but never here. Its so pretty." I smiled and nodded, and our friendship bloomed from there.
*2 YEARS LATER TIME SKIOP*
JIMIN'S P.O.V.
"Jisso, i really like her but she is the princess and i am no where near being a prince" I complained to Jisso for the fifth time this week. Im sure at this point she was annoyed.
"Well if you like her that much, tell her, Laci is not the kind of person to ruin a friendship over a boy liking her. If you're scared she rejects you and she doesn't want to be friends anymore, forget about it." Jisso said. And yet i was still scared, but i wanted to tell her so bad.
"I just dont know how" I said. No im just to scared. "Tell her when you go riding tomorrow" Jisso answered. I nodded. How am i going to do this.
YOUR P.O.V.
Jimin and I were on or way to our spot where Jisso, Jimin, and I usually hung out. Jisso couldnt make it today.
Jimin said something funny and i laughed. It was always this way. i hated it. being alone with him. It made me even more nervous that I would say or do something to make him not like me. And there was a reason for it all.
I was hopelessly in love with my best friend, Jimin.
Soon we made it and set out a blanket for the two of us to sit on. Usually Jisso would bring snacks but she just prepared them for me to bring instead. I set them out in the middle of the big blanket we shared and immediately dug for an apple. my favorite snack.
"Hey Laci, I have something to tell you and i really hope this doesn't ruin anything between us" Jimin started, "I just never really knew how to say it, but here it goes." He breathed in and sighed heavily.
"I really like you Laci... like a lot" He sighed again and waited for me to say something.
He likes me back?
I stood up and motioned for him to hug me. he looked at me strange but hugged me anyway. When we let go,he wouldnt shut up.
"Im sorry i just thought that you know you might like me back too, but your the princess, you cant and your too good for me and i shouldnt have said anything in the first place im an idiot im so so so sorry please forgive me im sor-" I shut him up by kissing him.
"God you really are an idiot.... a really cute idiot" I said. He pulled me back and kissed me again this time with passion and happiness.
"But what are people gonna think?" He asked. "Let them think what they want. I have you and you have me. Thats all we need" I answered.
At that moment, life was complete for Both Jimin and Laci. They knew they had each other forever.
And you know what, Everyone loved Jimin the stable boy.
