I shook my head, as the yearly reminder went off,in annoyance. First these are normal people with gifts, not creatures. Second, its so stupid they aren't allowed to have contact with anyone but their family... if they still have any.
Then there was a bang on my door. "HEY OPEN UP IT COLD OUT HERE!" I ran to my door to see Felix, my best friend. I let him in and closed the door. We walked in and he sent is black and blue backpack on the coffee table.
"Hi its been forever im so sorry" he said looking at me with a sad yet happy smile.
"Oh never mind that give me a hug" I said. his smile brightened and he ran into my open arms. "I missed you" We spoke at the same time and then both laughed a little bit.

You met Felix when you were like two. You guys just became best friends. You got closer and became more like brother and sister and saw each other at least three times a week. it had been six days since you last saw him.

Today he wore a green and whit flannel around his waist, a black sweater, and black ripped jeans. He made it work. he sat down on my black comfy couch and I followed.
"So sis hows things been?" he asked using my nickname. "Its been 6 days broseph, chill. Nothing has happened."
"Oh my gods you're lying. Did you forget i could do that?" He asked. Right. I forgot he could read minds ... AND CAUSE I ASKED HIM NOT TO.
"Felix! I told you not to do that anymore!" I said "Im sorry i couldn't help it.... there is a boy involved AND I GOTTA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED I WANT THAT BURNING HOT TEA!" He yelled with a smirk.
"Fine but we have to keep quiet. No one can know what happened." I said. He nodded and went to the kitchen.
"THE HECK ARE YOU DOING' I yelled. "POPCORN AND CANDY AND BLANKETS" he yelled... such a child. "WHEN YOU EAT IT ALL YOUR PAYING ME BACK, we have a lot to talk about"
"Yeah we do... lets get started" he said with two buckets of popcorn and all of my candy. I shook my head and started.
