Chapter 3:Another One Goes

"Doctor!"Amy screamed.She ran up to the door and pounded on it."Doctor!Can you hear me?!"she yelled.All we heard was a crash and then silence.Amy stood with her ear against the door.'Just like the movie...'I thought.

"Okay,yeah so I think we should get going and try to find him or he's dead,"I said.Amy looked at me."He's not dead,"she told me."But we should get back to the TARDIS."We ran down the steps.The TARDIS was still there but it was locked."Why does everything bad have to happen right now..."I complained.

There was a bump coming from upstairs.We all looked up there but none of dared to set foot in that hallway."Creepy bumping from upstairs,guy's missing,and now we can't get out.Does anyone else feel like Arthur Kipps right now?"I said."Is that your favorite movie or something?"Rory asked."As it so happens,yes,"I answered quickly."I think one of us should go upstairs,"suggested Amy."Uh,no.Right now we need to GET OUT,"I said.Rory agreed with me.

We ran to the door."Oh that's why no one could get it open,"I said staring at the padlock on the door."No need to worry,I'm a lock picker."I grabbed a hair pin and unlocked it.The door swung open and we ran outside."Anna...."a creepy sounding voice called my name.'What the hell does it want?' I thought.The boarding over one of the windows was torn off.We saw a shadow in the  right window on the second floor.

The Doctor was  trying to get up.He was thrown out the window.Amy ran to him."Come on!"she said yelling for help.We got him up and he was unconscious.We pulled him to the sidewalk and we sat down.We couldn't just leave."Well,that was unpleasant,"he said waking up."No kidding.What was that thing?You said you figured it out,"I demanded."I thought I knew what it was.Now that I got a good glimpse of it,it's something I've never encoutered,"he told us.

"Great...what did it look like?"I asked."Well,it was very bloody.Let's just leave it at that...."he said.I nodded.We stood up and walked back to my house."Alan!"I screamed."I'm home!"There was no answer."His car's here..."I ran up the stairs and into his bedroom.

There lie Alan on the floor.His throat was slit."ALAN!!"I cried.I couldn't believe it.I fell to my knees.I was shocked.I shuffled to his body and put my head on his chest and I sobbed.The Doctor came in.He must've heard me scream.He stopped at the doorway.

Amy and Rory stood in the hall."Anna..."he said.He came a bit closer.I was still crying.My brother was dead and there was nothing I could do about it."It got him..."I managed to say."Anna we need to go..."he said.He tried to pull me away but I wouldn't let him.Rory came in and picked me up.I was kicking and screaming.I didn't want to go.

It was a few minutes before the authorites came.An ambulance took Alan's body away.I just sat on the sidewalk and watched it ride away down the road.The darkness swallowed the truck up.The Doctor came and sat down by me.

"It's your fault.If you were never here then he wouldn't be dead.No,I'm sorry.It's not..."I apologized."I'm sorry,"he whispered.Tears were rolling down my face.Now,since he was gone,I have to go back to that awful orphanage.Or a foster home or something.I buried my head in my hands.

"The TARDIS is in the house.I have my key.I can go back and get it and risk getting thrown out a window again,"he joked.I laughed a little but continued crying."I'll go with you.Rory told me that as long as I was with you I was safe,"I said."That's not always true.But,I'll make sure your safe,"he said getting up.

He helped me stand up.I was a bit shaken but I could walk.We skipped the Neely's house and walked for about 2 minutes.We arrived at it."You ready?"he said worried."Yeah."I was scared.I didn't want to go back in that house but I did anyways.

He opened the door and the TARDIS stood in the entrance hall.We walked over to it.He put the key in the lock but turned around."Anna,don't look behind you..."he warned.I looked at the mirror that stood in front of me.

There stood a creature that was covered in blood.Its eyes were black and it just stood there,with a huge grin on it's face.It had one tooth and the mouth stretched from one ear to another.It stood there with webbed feet and had a cloth in it's hand.

The Doctor unlocked the door quickly and rushed me in.He closed the door and locked it and ran up to the cosole."What the hell was that thing?!"I screamed."A Bean Nighe.."he said looking at the console."You're not serious.A Bean Nighe?So,you mean Alan was going to die soon anyway?!"I yelled."Yes,and for some reason it wants you.It's not a mythical creature it's from the planet Batcow.The Scottish were the first to encounter it.It's been feeding for some reason.Funny,because they don't feed!"he said.

I stood silent .I couldn't belive it was real.They weren't that deadly but this one was going on a rampage for some reason.I knew very little about them but I knew that it was seen as an omen of death.
