"You should've let it go, you know."

So Ra looked at Yoongi from above her bowl of bulgogi. "Why? And why aren't you angry at your parents too? You were forced to marry me. You didn't even know it was me. You have your own life to live yet here you are in an expensive hospital room, taking care of a bloated being."

"I can't. They're still my parents. And you're not bloated."

So Ra looked down to her food to hide her blush. "Aren't you the perfect son?"

"You don't have to take it out on me."

Putting her chopsticks down, So Ra leaned back on the pillows Yoongi had stacked behind her, sighing out of gratefulness. "I know. I'm sorry. I'm just..." She looked at Yoongi and gave a tight-lipped smile, "I'm just so angry. I know I made a mistake. I should've been careful instead of getting pregnant but somehow I felt like they were too busy figuring out what to do to save their good name rather than to even ask if I'm okay with everything."

"They must have their own reasons."

"They do. The high and mighty 'Kang' dynasty."

Yoongi probably either didn't have anything else to say, or he did, but it wasn't nice, so he kept quiet as he laid on the couch.

"You can go, you know. You don't have to wait here."

"I want to. I'll be bored to death at home with no one to talk to."

"You don't have to go our home. Just go where you're supposed to."

"Not tonight."

She nodded, a little bit relieved. No, she was utterly relieved. "You didn't like to talk that much before. What changed?"

"Life."

"That's deep."

Yoongi chuckled as he turned to face So Ra. "I've changed, So Ra. Five years is a long time. You've changed too."

"I've gotten prettier. I know."

Yoongi gave his soundless cackle and So Ra had to smile.

She had forgotten how Yoongi laughed and looking at the man now, she reminisced again. "You used to laugh a lot more."

"We were kids. Barely adults. The world didn't seem that heavy on our shoulders."

She nodded. So Ra had to agree. The biggest problem they had was either to pass the exams or what to eat for dinner. Now, her mind worked overtime with the baby, her work, her parents and Yoongi.

"You know,"

"Hmm?" So Ra looked at Yoongi who had his eyes closed. She knew he was tired, going in and out of the hospital finding things she wanted to eat.

"You don't have to call it a mistake."

She kept quiet.

Yoongi whispered but it went straight to her heart, in between being heartwarming and heartbreaking. "A baby isn't a mistake."
