I woke up this morning in Elizabeth's bed to a cup of coffee on the table beside me and a note underneath that reads:

I hope you understand why I had to leave early. I can't wait to see you again, darling.
xx Elizabeth

I can't help the smile that forms on my lips after reading the note although I am a little disappointed that I didn't get to see her this morning. She's right, though, I definitely understand why we couldn't leave together. At least I drove myself last night so I don't have to worry about getting a ride to school.

I got ready quickly and made it to school on time for first hour. With Elizabeth on my mind, I couldn't help but to grin as I finished my math test during first. The teacher made a comment about my grin but I didn't respond only because I knew acknowledging it out loud would only make me happier. As the bell rang I rejoiced over the fact that I didn't have an actual class this hour. I'm forced to stay in either the library or computer labs but I don't have to focus on anything important.

Obviously I won't be able to focus on anything besides Elizabeth all morning until I get to see her again. All I can think about during second hour is going to Elizabeth while she's all alone in her room and kissing her with everything I am. Memories of last night flood my mind as I walk to her class between second and third. Let's just pray to god that she doesn't have a meeting. It's a rare occasion that she's busy but I really don't want that to be the case today.

Standing outside her classroom, I pause for a moment with my palm on the handle and take a breath to control my emotions. If I just go in there and straight away kiss her, there's no way I'll be able to talk about last night. I definitely want to as it was probably the most amazing I've ever felt in my life. I never knew my body could feel that and it was all because of the woman behind this wooden door.

As I open the door, I can't stop the smile that creeps onto my lips at the thought of seeing my lovely girlfriend again. I look around and notice her leaning on the edge of her desk with amused eyes watching me. She stands and walks to greet me and I step towards her to meet her halfway.

"Hey lady, you're still glowing." She comments which makes me blush a little but I hide my embarrassment with a sarcastic comment.

"I wonder why." I say with a devilish grin as she gets within arms reach of me. Immediately, as if magnets were sewn into our bodies, her arms meet my waist and she pulls me closer to her.

"Hm, I don't know." She replies with the same sarcastic tone. I look at her and feel like laughing at the fact that I've seen this beautiful woman for all her glory and she's seen me.

"I don't remember doing much last night..." I trail my voice away while looking at her with raised eyebrows, suggestively. She looks down at me confidently and I can't help but feel weak under her steady gaze.

"It was that good, eh?" She comments with that beautiful wit of hers and I roll my eyes playfully. One downside to dating a woman smarter than me is that she can always come up with snarky responses faster than I can. Her teasing gaze makes me heat up and I take us over to a counter. I sit on the counter and she spreads my knees apart so she can stand between my legs and hug my waist with both arms.

"You're too smart for me." I say in a whiny voice, pouting a little to make myself cuter. She releases my waist but keeps her hands on my hips and raises a single, sexy eyebrow at me.
