"Come on, come on, come on!" I frustratingly screamed. I rapped the consul lightly. My TARDIS was particularly bumpy and it was making me lose my sight. Another panel of buttons lit up, making me groan until I saw the color.
Mauve, the universal color of danger. Except for on Earth. Funny little planet.
Which ironically, my TARDIS was taking me there.
Ah Earth, diameter 7,926 miles with a tilt of axis of 23 degrees 27". Perfect for any impending disaster. It was night, probably around 8, modern London. My sonic screwdriver started beeping towards one direction. My sonic was personally made. You couldn't trust those brand ones. It glows red at the tip and basically looks like a pen. Perfect disguise.
My sonic led me all the way to a small department store, Henrick's. It detected some sort of mind control. Haven't seen that in years! Oh, brings back good memories. I went to the basement only to see some girl with a thick cockney accent, yelling, "Wilson!" I hid behind some boxes, well prepared to wait the girl out.
That is until I heard her start yelling. The mannequins. THE MANNEQUINS! Mind control, living plastic, autons! Urgh I'm so idiotic! I ran over, grabbed her arm, and told the blond girl to run. Except another person did the same exact thing. A man in a leather jacket with tawny bluey eyes, short dark hair, and huge ears looked at me confusedly. He started pulling on her arm and we ran into a lift. The autons chased after us and one tried to stop the lift with his arm, but it closed. The man tried to pull it off, but continuously failed. "Move!" I shouted, my own cockney accent showing. The arm was definitely plastic and I pulled it off with a final thrust. "You pulled his arm off," the blond girl started.
I smiled and threw it to the man. "Yep. Plastic."
"Very clever. Nice trick!" she chuckled, "Who were they then, students? Is this a student thing or what?"
The man finally talks, "Why would they be students?"
"I don't know."
"Well, you said it," I agreed, "Why students?"
"'Cos to get that many people dressed up and being silly, they got to be students," the blond girl reasoned.
"That makes sense. Well done."
"Thanks," she breathed out in relief.
The man and I said in unison, "They're not students." He looked at me while I looked at him. I've never seen him before in my life, yet something seemed so entirely....familiar. Before I could think about it any more, the girl interrupted our staring contest, "Whoever they are, when Wilson finds them, he's going to call the police."
"Who's Wilson?" the man asked.
"Chief electrician."
"Wilson's dead," I said simply. Finally, the lift opened. I bolted out of there, made sure that my two new friends were safely out, and didn't even bothered listening to them. I began working on the lift's mechanism to make sure that the autons wouldn't be able to follow us. Sonic screwdriver was the best option so I took it out of my pocket. The man scoffed, "What are you going to do then? Write the plastic men a 'be back in 5 minutes' note?"
"Mind your eyes," I smirked. My eyebrow rose and I pressed the button on the side of my sonic. It pulsed to life instantly.
I pressed it against the lift's mechanism which made it spark up. He narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?"
"Who are you?" I countered. Best come back ever.
"I asked first."
"I asked second. What's your point?" We had a little glaring match before he turned to the girl, explaining how he was going to blow up the building to stop the autons. He ran away for a couple seconds before turning back, "I'm the Doctor, by the way. What's your name?" No, no, no, he can't be the Doctor. I had a mini panic attack.
