The noise from downstairs distracted me. No doubt people are freaking out. THE HOSPITAL IS ON THE MOON.

I met Martha trying to control everyone in the orthopedic ward. The Doctor's curtain was still closed and I didn't bother opening it. "All right now, everyone back to bed," I instructed, "We've got an emergency but we'll sort it out. Don't worry."

Martha, Swales, and I go to the window. Discreetly and silently, I scanned to make sure that we were, in fact, on the moon.

"It's real," she muttered, "It's really real. Hold on." Martha reached to open the window.

"Don't! We'll lose all the air."

"But they're not exactly air tight," I pointed out.

"Yeah, if the air was going to get sucked out it would have happened straight away," Martha agreed, "But it didn't. So how come?"

Suddenly, the Doctor, now fully dressed in his blue suit, whipped the curtain open. "Very good point. Brilliant, in fact. What was your name?"

"Martha."

"And it was Jones, wasn't it?" He made sure, "And Celeste Smith." The Doctor smiled teasingly at me.

"Well, John Smith," I started, "I was wondering whether you were going meddle with or without the bed gown." Martha looked at us, trying to work out why we were talking casually.

"Oh, you'd like that," he went back to serious, "Well then, Martha Jones, the question is, how are we still breathing?"

"We can't be," Swales answered.

"Obviously we are, so don't waste our time," I advised, "Doctor, there's a balcony by patients ward."

"Fancy going out?" He looked at both of us.

"Fresh air never killed anyone."

Swales sputtered, "There is no fresh air!"

Martha looked at me carefully so I smiled. "Ok," she decided.

"We might die," the Doctor warned.

"We might not." She linked my arm and her arm, smiling that I'm coming.

"Good. Come on. Not her, she'd hold us up." Swales looked offended, but relieved.

We all stepped outside onto the balcony. The Doctor and Martha took a deep breath, but I just breathed normally.

"We've got air. How does that work?"

"Just be glad it does."

"We've got a party tonight," Martha pointed out, "It's my brother's twenty first. My mother's going to be really, really-" She trailed off and I blanked out from the view.

It reminded me why I loved the universe, why I was desperate to keep moving. It reminded me of the Doctor.

And how angry I was for being left here for a month. I didn't care it wasn't exactly that Doctor. Glaring at him viciously, I stalked off into the hospital.

The Doctor ran off after me. "Up, up, up. The Judoon are here," he informed, "You should stay, Celeste." I angrily hit his hand which made him grip it tighter around my arm.

"Stay away from me!"

"Ok, you're mad," the Doctor stated, "Probably has something to do with your TARDIS not being able to leave-"

"I could've left any time!" I glared again.

"Why didn't you?" he demanded. I stayed silent, not wanting to answer. "Why?" he asked angrily.
