Abigail's POV
"Ughhhh" I groaned as my alarm signaled me to get up, but I didn't want to get up just to intend my first day at a new hell. Not wanting to prolong the inevitable any longer, I lean over and hit the snooze button on the alarm. Then slowly sitting up and stretching, while lightly yawning looking at the sun come through the window. 'I should get curtains soon I hate my room being bright' I thought as I climbed out of my bed, making my way to my closet and almost tripping over a boxed yet to be unpacked. "Why do I am to be so clumsy" I mumbled under breathe as I gained my composure and grabbed a school uniform from my closet. Looking it over I already hated it because it involved the khaki colored pants, which I must say is torture for girls who are on their period. On the over hand, the top was a black collared shirt, not much on the collar part, but I do love black.  Before leaving the closet I reached in and grabbed my black lace up combat boots and jacket, which was also black. With everything I needed in my hands I walked over to my vanity and started getting ready. Looking into the mirror I could tell I had a lot of work to do seeing that my long black hair was a mess and the lines under my eyes were really dark. So I got dressed and brushed out my hair, pushing it back so I could put makeup on. Make up for me for me was light and natural looking because I didn't want to look like a clown with ten pounds of paint on my face. The only thing that gave away the fact I was wearing make was the eyeliner, which still wasn't thick, but it was visible. Also, the light bronze looking eyeshadow that made my blue eyes stand out. After I was finished I let my hair fall into place and my bangs covered my right eye. I then gave myself one last look over before grabbing my school bag and heading towards the kitchen. As I exited my bedroom and started walking down the hallway that leads to the kitchen, my orange tabby cat named Levy came sprinting my way almost making me stumble. He came to a stop at my feet and looked like he was trying to hide behind me, which confused me until I heard "That damn cat!" Shouted from the living room. I laughed and picked him up, lightly scratching behind his ears. "What did you do this time?" I asked and in response, he just starting purring, while curling up in my arms. I shook my head and continued walking down the hallway with him in my arms. Once I reached the kitchen, I saw a very annoyed look on my grandmother's face. I held back a snicker as asked: "What did he do this time?" She lightly glared at the orange fluff ball in my arms and said "He climbed up my curtains and bent the curtain rod. So I sprayed him with the water bottle." I shook my head and put the purring Levy on the floor so I could get some coffee. "Well that explains why he ran to me, but hey at least the curtain rod is bent not broken," I said as I grabbed a to-go cup from the cupboard. She smiled and asked, "So you ready for your first day at the new high school?" My mood dropped fast and I felt my heart drop to my stomach. I hated school because oh all of the drama. Plus I have really bad anxiety so being around a lot of people was terrifying. That and I am a social outcast or a freak as people would say due to my gothic lifestyle. "Yea because I am so ready to be the freak of yet another school," I said sarcastically, which got a pained expression from her. "Hey, maybe you'll like it, maybe it is different." She said and I shook my head "I highly doubt that." I said in a monochrome tone as I finished making my coffee and putting the lid on the to go cup.  I turned to face her as she sighed "At least give it a try, I don't want to constantly be depressed and hurt yourself again." That hit me hard thinking about how I use to cut a lot and have scars that I hide by wearing a jacket. I took a deep breath and somehow managed a smile. "I'll give it a try and I won't hurt myself." I said as I gave her a hug, which she returned and said "Good, now you better hurry along so you are not late." I nodded and grabbed my car keys. I leaned down and scratched behind Levy's ear once more making him purr. Then headed out the door, not exactly ready to fix the dreaded hell, but doing it anyway for my families sake at least. I got into my car into my car, which wasn't anything special, but it gets me from point A to point B so it is nice in my opinion. I typed in the school's address into my GPS so I actually got there instead of messing up. Once the GPS started up I pulled out of the driveway and headed to the new hell whole. After about twenty mins or so I arrived at the school. It wasn't very big or anything just plain and simple, just like any school in a small town. I sighed and took a big swig of my coffee mentally preparing myself for today. After I thought I was ready I grabbed my stuff and exited the car.
