It was Monday morning. I woke up extra early because I was planning on meeting with Lilia for breakfast.
We hadn't had any BFF time lately, as a lot of drama was going on. I finished my makeup and put my clothes on.
I ran downstairs to the living room. "Mom, I'm ready to go!" She ran out of her room and grabbed her keys.
My mom dropped me off at the cafe Lilia was meeting me at. I walked in and scanned the room. I saw that Lilia wasn't here yet. I decided to go ahead and sit down.
As I waited for her, I could've sworn I saw Liam walk in. It couldn't be him, though, as this boy was with another boy.

I guess I really was just paranoid about Liam finding out that Jacob tried to kiss me. It would kill me to see him hurt like this.
Is this my conscious telling me something? Should I tell Liam about Jacob and me?
Lilia interrupted my thoughts as she sat down. "Wowza, you deep in thought." I shook my head. "Nope, just thinking about lunch."
As we finished our breakfast, we gathered our stuff to leave. "Your mom is picking us up, right?" I asked Lilia, hoping we still had a ride to school.
She shook her head and we headed out of the cafe. I reached into my purse to grab my phone, only to find out in wasn't there.
"Crap, I left my phone on the table. I'll be right back." I ran back inside and picked up my phone. I was scrolling through my notifications when I bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry!" I said while looking up. I couldn't believe who I had just run into. It couldn't be. This has got to be some sort of misunderstanding.
