*Your POV*
"Okay, so we've already sold 6 boxes of blueberry chewys, 11 boxes of chocolate rings, and 3 boxes of mint oeros." (A/N: I have no idea if these are real I just made them up.) I was helping my sister with her girl scout cookie selling, she gets nervous talking to strangers so I usually do all the talling. My little sister Katherine said, checking how many boxes of cookies we already sold. ( A/N: I don't know if you have a little sister but if you do just block Katherine out and put her name :) )
"In total that's 20 boxes, but today we need to sell 26 in total." My sister continued.
"Who's next then?"
"The Grier's." I shrugged my shoulders, and took Katherine's red wagon handle in my hand. I stared at the list of people who wanted cookies with they're Name, Phone number, and Address in columns. I skimmed down until I found the last name Grier, I look to the right for there address.
"163 Mooresvillie NC, 28117." (Attention: This is just his P.O box.) I mumbled under my breath. I pulled the handle with Katherine following closely behind, humming let it go, she was four, and it was her favourite movie. I stopped to the point where I saw a greenish house, I checked the cookies they wanted. Six boxes, two of each. I took one of each box while Katherine took the other three. We walked up the porch steps, Katherine looked at me you an for approval to knock on the tanned color door. I nodded as Katherine knocked on the door four times lightly. I heard foot steps and mumbles until I heard unlocking and meet with a pair of crystal blue eyes. I stared into them getting lost, Katherine nudged me I quickly snapped out of my trance and held up the three boxes of cookies I had in my hand.
"H-Hi , we are s-selling cookies, and a-according to this l-list, y-you have purchased t-three boxes of each c-cookie box. Your t-the Grier's, r-right?" He smiled, causing me to smile. He nodded.
"Here you go, sir!" Hayes looked down at Katherine, smiled and knelt down. He started whispering in her ear, instead of her flinching she got closer, then giggled.
"You'd do that for me okay?"
"Okay." She smiled. He took the boxes of cookies from her and stood back up looking up at me and smiled, once again I got lost in his eyes.
"Um, Y/N..." I snapped out of my trance and looked down at her.
"Can you give him the cookies so we can go home?" I looked down at the three boxes of cookies still in my hand.
"Oh, right! Sorry." I blushed handing him, his cookies. He took them from my hand and chuckled.
"It's alright." He smiled once more at and shut the door silently.
*Skipping the boring walk back home*
I was in my room, laying down finishing up some of my math homework. I heard a knock on my door.
"Who is it?"
"Katherine!!" I sat up sitting criss-crossed.
"Come in!!" The door opened and Katherine came in with her Elsa pajamas on.
"Yes?" She walked over to me and climbed onto my bed.
"Um...you know that boy, we went to last?" I blushed, why would she bring him up.
"Y-Yeah, what about h-him?"
"He wanted me to tell you, that you look really beautiful today." I blushed and couldn't help but smile.
"Oh, okay, thank you, but I really need to finish my homework."
"Oh okay." Katherine climb off my bed and started walking to her room.
"One more thing, he said his name was Hayes." With that she walked to her room. Hayes. I wish I could seem him again, at least I know we live in the same neighbourhood.
*Next Morning*
I stood at the bus stop, The bus comes at 8:40, but I come out at 8:30 just in case. I was the only kid at the bus stop so I can practically just chill or do what I want. I pulled out my phone, and my headphones. I set my bookbag down, sitting on the hard pavement leaning against it. I plugged my headphones into my phone and went to my playlist. I selected the song 'Pretty Hurts by Beyonce.' I started silently singing along with my lyrics.
Uh huh huh
"Momma said, you a pretty girl, what's in your head it doesn't matter.
Brush your hair, fix your teeth. What you wear is all that matters."
Just another stage, Pageant the pain away. This time I'm gonna win the
crown without falling down, down, down.
Pretty Huurtts! Shine the light on what ever's worse! Perfection is a
disease of a nation, pretty hurts! Pretty hurts!
Pretty Hurrtts! Shine the light on what ever's worse, we try to fix
something but you can't fix, what you can't see.
It's the soul that needs the surgery.
I stopped when I saw a pair of Gray vans, I followed the shoes up till I found the same crystal blue eyes from yesterday.
"Hey."
"Hey."
It's suckish I know! I hope you enjoyed! Part 2 maybe? I don't know.
