The next day came around and Elena called saying she was picking me up and that there was some business to attend to at the Salvatore's before school.
The night before dad was so worried for me. He kept apologizing for not being there for me but I told him not to worry since I was okay now. Jenna was the one still healing and he had no reason to be sorry.
Elena showed up and we walked into the Salvatore's front door.
"Hey." Stefan looked to Elena.
"Hey you called. What's going on?" Elena asked confused.
"Well-" he started as he moved. The woman who kidnapped us was behind him.
"You." Elena looked at her confused.
"Why did you let her here?" I asked shaking my head and crossing my arms. I was in full sass mode.
"She might have some information on why you were taken." Stefan replied looking to me.
"She kidnapped us so we could be kidnapped by someone else. How do you know she'll tell the truth?" I asked tilting my head.
"You do realize I'm standing right here." She shook her head obviously. I nodded lightly with a fake smile to her before I went back to my bitch face.
"Listen she can help tell us why you two are so important to Elijah." Damon replied as I looked at him and squinted before I walked over and sat on the couch as Elena followed.
"You have to understand that I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true. That's the problem with all this vampire crap but Klaus, I know is real." she explained looking at us.
"Klaus?" I asked confused.
"He's an original. A legend." Damon replied.
"He's from the first generation of vampires." Stefan nodded.
"And you're saying a first generation vampire wants to kill us?" Elena asked confused and probably a bit scared.
"Yes." Rose answered.
"No." Stefan added at the same time covering up her statement.
"What they are saying - if what she's saying is true-" Damon started.
"Which it is." She interrupted.
"And you're not just saying it so we don't kill you-" he kept going looking at Rose.
"Which I'm not." She interrupted yet again.
"-Then we are looking at a solid maybe." Damon responded as I pushed my hair back not sure what to do with the new found information.
"Look Elijah's dead. That means no one else knows that you exist." Stefan shrugged sitting next to Elena.
"Not that you know of." Rose muttered and I was starting to get annoyed.
"That's not helping." Damon looked to her.
"Look we are talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. We don't know what's real. For all we know he could just be a myth." Stefan explained to her as I stood up.
"If he's a myth then why were they so scared of him when they were trying to trade our lives?" I asked motioning towards Rose. "Not to mention why I was involved in that whole thing?"
