I carefully placed mouse traps along the desks of the English teachers classroom. Elena was on my left and Caroline was on my right. Bonnie and Tyler stood doing other things. It was senior prank day, a great time for getting back at all the horrible teachers of the school.
The mousetraps were tedious work that took perfection. Elena placed one and it popped. "Careful." I whispered to her.
The door opened and the lights turned on. All the sudden all the mousetraps popped. We looked up to see Matt. "No." I sighed lightly.
"Come on! Seriously? Do you know how long it took for us to set all this up?" Caroline asked frustrated.
"Matt you owe us a room full of mousetraps." I crossed my arms looking at him upset. We spent at least two hours so far on this alone.
"Forgot about senior prank night huh?" Tyler asked looking to him.
"Clearly." Matt let out a soft chuckle.
"How could you forget? We've been waiting for this moment since freshman year." Caroline stated.
"Not to mention I am the queen of pranks." I smiled to him.
"How's that working for you so far?" Tyler joked pointing to all the mouse traps. I pushed him lightly and he laughed.
"Matt if I'm doing this you are doing this." Elena stated looking at him.
"I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this." Matt replied looking around. He was all sweaty. I could smell him from over here.
"Carolines making us." Bonnie retorted her arms crossed lightly.
"We are about to be seniors. These are the memories that stay with us forever, and if we don't-" Caroline started.
"If we don't create all these memories now then what's the point of it all?" Elena finished, a smile plastered on her face.
"Go ahead and make fun. I don't care." Caroline replied matter of factly.
"You're all lame. And I've got ten more classrooms to prank." Tyler said walking out.
"See you guys." I smiled to them before following Tyler out.
"Why are you following me?" He asked with fake annoyance.
"Please, I'm the master at this. Watch and learn little wolf." I joked as I grabbed some honey and ran towards a classroom.
We pranked a few classrooms together before I split and went to my dad's classroom. I wasn't gonna lie, I was having a hard time dealing with Damon. I tried to call him a few times but he left town without even telling anyone, without telling me. He was being stupid and it hurt. It made me question what he really felt about me.
I was putting honey on the insides of his desk handles and under his desk. I smirked as I put some of the honey in my mouth. I chuckled lightly and heard Elena screaming. I ran down the hall following the sound of her breathing rapidly. I thought at first it might be a prank, but it sounded too nervous still. She was obviously in trouble.
I got to the gym and saw Elena with Stefan in the gym. "Stefan?" I asked looking at him confused when I smelt blood. I saw two students dead on the ground and Elena bleeding. "Elena what the hell is going on?" I asked looking at the timer ticking down.
"When the timers done ticking I have to kill her." He angrily claimed looking from her to me.
"You can fight it Stefan." Elena tried to convince him.
"No I can't! You need to understand that. When the timer hits 0 you need to run." He instructed as Elena shook her head.
"No I won't leave you." She replied lovingly.
