*Hyerin's POV*
"Maybe I should make my own killing part..." I said while watching my dance practices that were recorded in a tablet.
"Maybe you should." a female's voice said behind me.
When I turned my head around to see who it was, it was Saeri.
"Saeri!" I got off from my seat and hugged her tightly as she did the same.
"I missed you a lot!" she said as I giggled.
We were in a cafe that the two of us would usual go to before and after we debuted. Today is my break and Saeri and I decided to go on a date together.
"I did too, you missed out on so many amazing events."
"Oh really?" she said crossed her arms when I let her go. Giving me rather a annoyed look, she pouted her lips. "And just how fun was everything without me?"
"I didn't mean it that way." I nervously chuckled as the girl sat across from me.
"Hyerin, I heard that you got a new manager and I met up with him. Apparently he was that moron who had the guts to confess to you last year when I wasn't around. I hate him, don't talk to him unless I say so."
"How did you know about that?"
"Chunghee told me about it. Didn't he just left for his vacation about two hours ago?" she asked as I nodded.
"Yep and I saw his family off. Chunghee seemed really happy since it's been a long time since he went on a family trip. I'm very happy for him, he deserved that break. Also, his wife is a very beautiful girl. She's prettier up close, and their son is also really cute. He really resembles the both of them. They really do make a perfect couple." I said while resting my chin on my palms. "It makes me want to get married soon..." I said as Saeri chewed on her bottom lip.
"No, you can't. You're an idol, you're one of Korea's best soloist. You can't have those kinds of thoughts." she interrupted my thoughts.
"Yeah, I'm an idol. What was I thinking." I sighed as Saeri gave me a upset look.
"Hyerin, smile for me." she suddenly said.
"W-What?" I nearly choked from her sudden words.
"I said smile for me, I hate seeing you sad or upset, so smile." she said making me giggle.
"Even though two weeks has passed, you're still the same." I ruffled her hair.
"You know, there was an article about you a few days ago."
"What? Really?" I said as she nodded.
"Yeah, but it wasn't so serious. It was about you and this guy called Lee Euijin I think. Anyway, they said that your relationship is like a drama. You were both friends for a long time and reunited a year after Euijin finishing serving in the army. Why didn't you tell me that all this time when you were texting someone, it was him when we use to be a group? It's not like I would tell anyone." she said as I looked outside the window of the cafe.
I was planning on telling Saeri I was dating Euijin in the past, but I never found the perfect timing.
On the day Euijin was going to serve the army, it was the same day when I got into the car accident. As his girlfriend, I wanted to say one last goodbye to him so I asked my manager to drive us to the military base, and he surprisingly agreed to it even though he had no idea what was up. Sadly, while we were almost at our destination, we got into a car accident and that was where I lost my memories. While Euijin was serving for the army for two years, I was in a coma for a year and woke up and began my life after spending another year at the hospital to recover. It was like fate for us to reunite again.
