*Hyerin's POV*
"Ahh..." I say in disappointment as I realized what I had just done.
"What's wrong?" Chunghee asked.
I looked down and found a broken glass cup on the floor next to my desk that was sitting in front of.
"I dropped my cup of coffee." I sighed and got off from my seat.
About to pick up the glass, Chunghee stopped me and cleaned it for me instead.
"It would be bad if you got a cut, you're an idol so you must be protected at all times." he replied.
"Ah, thank you." I thanked the young male.
Standing awkwardly in my living room, Chunghee said something that caught me off guard.
"You know, a glad cup is broken, it stands for a bad omen."
A bad omen? Doesn't that mean something bad is going to happen?
"Just kidding...!" he cracked a small giggle at the end of his sentence.
Stupid Chunghee, always saying something weird as usual isn't he?
"Shouldn't you be with your wife?" I said after moments passed.
"Ah, about that...we got into a fight." he scratched the back of his head while innocently smiling at me.
Watching as he threw the broken glass cup into the trash bin next to my desk, I stood there a bit surprised.
"W-What do you mean?" I questioned his empty shallow smiling face.
I sat down on my chair as the male sat down on the hard floor.
"My wife is actually really jealous of you Hyerin."
"Eh? Ha? Huh? Jealous of me? Your wife is jealous of me? Who would be jealous of me? I'm just an idol who doesn't even do much besides getting hurt."
"Well my wife is, she was obviously upset towards the fact that I missed out on my own birthday party she was holding for me since I had to be with you. Even though I explained to her that it's my job to be with you as much as possible as manager, she cut me off by saying that I was just using that as an excuse to be with you longer." he looked down onto his laps.
"It's because she doesn't understand your story, Hyerin. I don't want to be a douchebag and tell her your whole life story without your permission, so I told her that it was personal. But she got the wrong idea about that being another excuse so I ended up with a slap in the face!" he pointed to his cheek.
"Ah...? A-Are you okay?"
"Yep! Totally!" he grinned.
So it was my fault that Chunghee got into a fight with his wife...I'm always the one who causes the problems aren't I? I'm so useless.
"I'm sorry...that you always have to spend time with me..." I apologized but the male shook his head.
"No, it's my fault. Even when you told me that I could leave work now, or say that I should go see my wife and my child, I always stay with you." he explained. "You're like a little sister I always dreamed of having, so that's why I get worried about you Hyerin."
"Thank you Chunghee, but you should really go see your wife. Although I'm like your sister, your wife IS your wife, she's your lover." I tried pointing out.
"But what about work? You have to perform in three hours—"
"It's fine, I'll get there by a taxi now go apologize to your wife...!"
