*Hyerin's POV*

Awkwardly and nervously, Euijin held my hand gently as Saeri simply GLARED at him across the table we were sitting on.

"What do you see in him? We're almost the same height!" Saeri complained.

Knowing that Saeri is 170 centimeters—well to be exact, 5'7, of course she didn't like Euijin for his height.

"Look, it's just because you're tall. I'm 5'4, and Euijin is the perfect height for me." I tried to protect Euijin's pride in his height.

"And I'm the perfect height for you. I don't see what's great in him." Saeri crossed her arms.

We were at our usual place, Saeri wanted to meet Euijin face to face and see why I chose him out of all the guys I could have in the world.

Euijin, who was sitting next to me, didn't look so confident against Saeri. It's like as if he was intimidated by her, but it also felt like he was ready to fire back anything at her.

"Saeri-ssi." Euijin managed muster up and say.

"Did you really hate that me much?" he asked the girl went quiet for a bit.

"Obviously I do." she stated as silence came along after her words.

Euijin and Saeri...I don't feel super comfortable with these two together.

Saeri and Euijin once met when I was in a coma. I didn't have much detail, but Saeri and Euijin both really...are suspicious.

"Then why did you say that to me last time when we saw each other?" Euijin then asked Saeri next.

"Say what?" I questioned and looked at Saeri who seemed a bit flustered.

"You remember don't you? You told me that you—"

"Shut up!" Saeri stood up from her chair. "Stop bringing up that past! It's over now!"

Saeri and Euijin...do the two of them have a relationship that I don't know of?

"Saeri." I said and stood up. "You're hiding something aren't you?"

"Hmmm...." she looked away.

"Fine, I am hiding something from you." she confessed and sat down on her chair.

"Euijin and I met a few years ago, I didn't remember him until recently though." she sighed. "He was so ugly that I just couldn't take it."

"Saeri-ssi and I met when after I returned from serving in the army." Euijin replied. "And she's still as evil as ever."

"I was looking for you, I called you, and I searched for you Hyerin, but I never found you."

When Euijin finished serving in the army...that was the time when I was busy working out to regain my muscles that I lost from the car accident.

"I called you multiple times, but it seems that you got a new phone. So, I called Saeri, you remember that you gave me her phone number right?" Euijin scratched the back of his head as I nodded.

It's rare for Saeri to buy different phones. In her entire life, Saeri has only bought and exchanged three phones. So that's probably how they still had contact.

"Well, we met up and uh..." Euijin couldn't say anything else. "It's not like as if anything happened, it's just that..."

"It wasn't my fault or anything, it's his fault!" Saeri yelled and pointed at Euijin.

"I didn't do a thing wrong!" Euijin stood up from his seat.

"Yeah right! Why else would you call me then?!" she stood up from her chair.
