Chapter 10

Sohyun's POV

Mrs. Kim : So...what is Sungjae doing here?" (A/N : Mrs. Kim is Sohyun's mother if u guys remember last chapter. )

Sohyun : "Joohyuk requested to let him stay here for a month....."

Mrs. Kim : "Well..I don't mind but not to be rude. Just why?" ^.^

Sohyun : "Ummm....that's because...."

I hesitated.

Sungjae : "My father...well not exactly my father..I mean Joohyuk's father came home after going overseas. And he always beat me whenever he sees me..so...I always stay at the orphanage when he comes home but now he knows that I stayed at the orphanage whenever he's home. So...I need to stay somewhere else and it just turned out to be your house."

He said when he saw me hesitating to say it.

Me and my mom both have no words to say. O.O

I mean....how can he speak those words without feeling miserable?

Mrs. Kim : "Uhhh....of course you can stay!" :)

Sungjae : "Thank you, Eomoni."

Oh this person does knows how to say thank you. -_-

After dinner~

Sohyun : So...Sungjae...I'll show you your room. Come."

I showed him the way to the guest room.

Sungjae's POV

I looked around the room as Sohyun opened the door and we both went inside. It looked nice I guess.

(A/N : i know i said dinner so its night but i cant find any night bedroom pictures. >.<)

Sohyun : "How does it look like?"

She said smirking to me.

Sungjae : "It does looked okay."

Sohyun : "Okay? Just okay? Well whatever. Make yourself at home. That's what my mom said. I'll go to my room. It's just beside yours. Knock if you need anything.

Sohyun's POV

I walked to my room. It's just around 10 - 15 meters beside his. As I went inside I quickly sat on my bed.

(A/N : Again excuse the daylight. And fyi her room is big but this is just the bed. I just said in case some of u might complain on how the guest room is bigger.)

*Sigh* It's a tiring day. 

I lied down. I closed my eyes for awhile but without realizing it, I accidentally slept.

The next morning.

Author's POV

Mrs. Kim : "Sohyun! Sohyun ahh! Ireona! (wake up)"

Sohyun woke up and looked at the clock right away.

Sohyun : "Eomma! (mom) Why didn't you wake me up earlier?"

Mrs. Kim : "Of course I did. But you kept on sleeping like a corpse."

Sohyun made an annoying face. Then she quickly went to the bathroom to wash her face.

After a moment of Sohyun's preparing time.

Sohyun : "Oh right. Has Sungjae gone to school yet?"

Mrs. Kim : "Maybe he did, I didn't see him at all since I woke up."

Sohyun : "Oh really?"

Meanwhile, at school.

Sungjae's POV

Taehyung : "Sungjae ya, where did you sleep at yesterday?"

Jungkook : *Surprised face* "Seolma.....(No way)....Did you...sleep at Minjoon's house? You cheated on us!"

Sungjae : "Anigeodeun. (No) By the way, cheat? Are we in that kind of relationship? And do you hate minjoon that much?"

Taehyung : "Ani (no) I'm fine with him."

Jungkook : "Yeah I do. Someone said he looked like me." >.<

Sungjae: "That's true though." -_-

Taehyung : "Back to the topic. Then where do you stay at? I didn't see you at the orphanage yesterday."

Sungjae : "You know Sohyun?"

Jungkook : "Oh number second. Yeah I know."

Sungjae : "Number second?

Taehyung : "That's her nickname. Because she always get the second place and you get the first."

Sungjae : "Oh...Anyways I'm staying at her house for a month."

Jungkook & Taehyung : "A MONTH?!?"

Sungjae : "Yup."

Jungkook & Taehyung : "Why?"

I explained to them on what happened. 

Taehyung : "Why didn't you asked for our help?"

Jungkook nodded as a sign that he agreed with what Taehyung said.

Sungjae : "Don't you remember?"

*Flashback*

I was staying at Taehyung's house for a night. His parents are really nice to me. But I noticed that it was an act. I accidentally heard his parents conversation with him.

Taehyung's Mother : "Taehyung ah...Try to find good friends. Don't be too close with him too much."

Taehyung : "Mom..I'm not a kid anymore. And Sungjae is a good friend."

Taehyung's Father : "Taehyung ah..your mom is worried about you. In her eyes, you will forever be a kid."

Taehyung walked away furiously. But he stopped and looked at me with pity eyes.

Taehyung : "S-S-Sungjae ya..."

Sungjae : "Gwaenchana." (It's okay) 

I said and smiled bitterly :)

*End of Flashback*

Taehyung : "Ah mian. (sorry) I forgot."

Sohyun's POV

I saw Sungjae talking with his friends. I stomped my feet while walking to him.
