Chapter 14

Sungjae's POV 

My room became quiet after Sohyun left. I kept thinking about what the doctor said. Of course, everyone will eventually die and I tried to suicide before but I'm still alive. Then why when I finally can accept my life and find happiness, I'm dying? 

While I was thinking, my door opened. 

Sungjae : "Who's there?"

An unfamiliar face showed up in front of me.

? : "Me?"

Sungjae : "Who are you?"

? : "I'm your father...Nah, just kidding. You understand, right?"

He laughed alone leaving me to stare at him with cold eyes.

Sungjae : "Who are you?"

? : "You don't remember me? Oh, come on! It's me! Jimin!"

Sungjae : "Jimin? Jimin as in my childhood friend? The one had runny nose?!?"

Jimin was my only loyal friend. He helped me while I was getting bullied and he ended up getting bullied too. Despite of his kindness, he's actually an heir to a rich company. Yeah. He is rich. But, he lacks love from his family. So we both had something in common. 

Jimin : "Yea! Shocked by how I became a good looking man?"

Sungjae : "How..did you know I'm here?"

Jimin : "I was visitting my friend. Then, I saw Joohyuk outside your room and asked him about you. Oh, and I saw two beautiful girls standing beside him too. Who are they? Are one of them your girlfriend?"

He asked excitingly.

Sungjae : "Seems like you never change at all except for you appearance. Seriously? It has been around 10 years since we last met, and you asked about girls first? Not about your friend who is laying down here on his deathbed?"

Jimin : "Hehe...Well, what happened?"

Sungjae : "You know it already, as always."

Jimin : "Your stepfather is back?!?"

Sungjae : "Yeah. It seems that he knew my hiding spot already. Because of some circumstances, I had to stay at the house of one of the girls you mentioned."

Jimin : "Oooh, there must be some romance developing...I envy you. I'm still single. No one wants me."

Sungjae : "Who the heck would want you?"

Jimin : "Eeh, so sassy. Anyways, I gotta go now. What's your number?"

Sungjae : "016-XXXXXXX."

Jimin : "Okay. I'll call you later. Bye."

Sungjae : "Bye."

That's all! I introduced a new character! I let Jimin take the character because he is my friend's, bias. So, hello fellow armys! As some of u already know, I'm not a big fan of BTS, but, I do love their songs! Anyways, sorry for the late update. Cya!
