Jace's POV

It was lunch and I was sitting with Alec, Izzy, Magnus, Simon,Will, Tessa, Jem and Clary. I have spent the whole day with Clary since we have the same classes and I knew I had to have her. She was beautiful, smart, talented and she was cute when she would stick her tongue out the side of her mouth when she was concentrated. Wait I. The Jace Herondale never call a girl those things maybe hot or sexy but not beautiful and cute; what is wrong with me. I look over at Clary that red hair and her emerald green eyes leave me staring at her. She seemed to have felt me staring because she looked over at me and saw me staring and blushed. That blush made me smile not a smirk or a sexy look, just a small happy smile. By the Angel what is this girl doing to me.

Izzy POV

It was lunch I was sitting with my friends and I was talking to Clary. I wanted to ask her if she wanted to come over this weekend because she was the first girl that became my friend not so she could just be with Jace. I noticed Jace staring at Clary and she must have noticed to cause she looked over at him. When she looked back at me I saw Jace, he was smiling not his smirk or sexy looks just a happy smile. A small smile appeared on my face to. I have never seen him so happy with just being around a girl before. Maybe Clary will change him or help him take down the walls he has built around his small heart. So it's decided I am going to try to get Jace and Clary together. "Clary?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you want to come to my house this weekend?"
"I would love to"
That must have caught Jace's attention because he looked up from his plate and looked at me with a nervous look. This weekend is going to be so much fun no parents, a sleepover, and truth or dare.
