Clary is 9 months pregnant

Clary's POV

I woke up with the worst aches I have had during my pregnancy. I run to the bathroom to throw up and I felt Jace come behind me and hold the hair out of my face and rub my back. Then I felt wetness and I realized that my water broke. "Jace. It's time." He rushed out and got the emergency bag we prepared and he picked me up and rushed me to the car. When we got there Jace had called Charlotte in the car so she was waiting outside for me and she moved me to a room. And I wanted Jace.

Jace POV

When we got to the hospital I was told to wait in the waiting room by nurses but I wanted to be there for my wife and child. And from the hall I could hear Clary yelling my name. "What do you think you are doing?" I looked over and saw Charlotte she was talking to the nurses and said "I have a patient that needs to give birth but she is too stubborn to do it without him." She pointed at me and came over and practically dragged me to Clary's room. When I got in here she was on a bed breathing extremely hard I went up to her and she looked up at me and gripped my hand with force I didn't know she had and made me yelp out in pain. "Oh my the baby is coming sooner than expected. Okay Clary I need you to push hard." And Clary did. And her grip on my hand caused my hand to turn purple. And Clary screamed out in pain.

Hours later

"Okay Clary one last push." Said Charlotte Clary pushed hardest on this one and my hand is a witness. She let go of my hand and fell back in the bed. She pulled my closer and hugged me. Wow I was expecting to get punched or something. I hugged her back for what seemed like forever. "Would you like to hold your child Clary?" She nodded her head frantically.

Clary's POV

When she placed the little bundle that was my baby in my hands everything else faded but me Jace and our baby. I said in a whisper "Hi there Liam Anthony Herondale welcome to the family." I handed him to Jace and he looked like he had fallen in love all over again. He looked at me and kissed my sweaty forehead. "Is this our happily ever after Clary?" I smiled and brought Jace down to me with Liam in our laps. "No Jace. This is just a new chapter of our story." We smiled and kissed Liam's head. "Forever Jace?" He smiled "Yes Clary. Forever."
