5 mounths later

Jace POV

Today Clary has her first ultrasound. She has started to show and I am going with her to the hospital. We are in the car and I am freaking out on the inside. When we get inside we are directed to the waiting room.

30 minutes later

"Clary and Jace Herondale" said a nurse.
We followed the nurse to a room in the back then she had Clary lay on a bed. "So Clarissa you are about 5 mounts into your pregnancy if I am correct." Clary and I nodded yes and she said "So we should be able to know the gender of your child would you like to know or a surprise." Clary and I looked at each other "Whatever you want Clary."

Clary's POV

I was thinking I mean I want a gender reveal party so... "Can you please write it down and fold it so we throw a gender reveal party?" "Of course I can." She then went over to get a machine which to my guess is the ultrasound machine. She then got a tube of that weird gell stuff. And cleaned my belly. Then she had a doctor come in and she left. "Hello I am Dr.Branwell but please call me Charlotte and I will be running your ultrasound and will be your doctor throughout your pregnancy." She then got the gell and put it on my baby bump and got a wand thingy from the ultrasound machine. She was moving it around and looking at a screen that was black and white. "Here we are. If you look at the screen you will see your baby. Would you like pictures?" Jace and I both nodded completely mesmerized by the fact that this was real and that another living being was growing inside me. She must have left because she came back into the room with a piece of paper and ultrasound pictures. She handed each of us a picture and wrote down on the paper and handed it to me. "This is the gender of your child like you asked." I gave her a smile and she told us we could leave.

When we got home I had My mom and Celine come over. When they got here Jace and I were greeted with hugs and kisses. "So what is the gender!?" They both asked/yelled. I handed them the paper and said "We want you two to plan a gender reveal party so don't tell us or anyone what the gender is." After about 20 minutes of them asking how we want to reveal the gender they left talking about the party with each other. That night Jace's head was laying on my chest and he was rubbing circles on my bump and he was whispering to my belly and I was just laying there with my eyes closed and playing with Jace's hair. Within minutes I was in a deep slumber and I felt Jace kiss my belly then my head and gathered me in his arms and pulled me to him.

Jace's POV

I was talking to the baby and after a while Clary fell asleep and I kissed her baby bump and then her head and pulled her to me loving and thinking of our future child.

Both POV

I fell asleep in the arms of the one person I love most in this world and fell asleep of how much I love our baby and how much I love Jace/ Clary.
