Younger Sky's POV:

"Mom?" I ran down the halls of the big castle looking for her. "Mom!" I ran into her room and struggled to get atop the bed. When I finally made it on, I started jumping up and down excitedly. "Mom guess what!" I cried.

"What's wrong baby?" She asked while rubbing sleep out of her eyes.

"Look!" I yelled before showing her my wings. She hugged me whilst smiling.

"Aww congrats. Sky your adult feathers are growing in! Do you know what this means?" She asked me. I nodded excitedly.

"I get to train with dad now!" She smiled again before hugging me. "Hey!" I yelled trying to wiggle out of her arms. "You're gonna mess them up already!" I yelled which caused her to laugh softly.

"Trust me they won't get messed up." She added while showing off her own pure snow white wings. "Have you shown your father and siblings yet?" She asked. I jumped up and started for the door.

"Sorry mom, I gotta show them! Love ya!" I yelled while running out. Hearing the crash and yell of some people, I found Eliza and Kai laughing amongst mess of broken dishes and a stack of chairs against the cupboard, while people were running around trying to clean them up.

"Kai! Eliza! What have you done now?" I demanded trying not to laugh.

"Well...erm...Eliza....wanted a drink!" Kai stuttered while Eliza nodded her head violently.

"Why didn't you ask someone then?" I questioned. Eliza looked down and Kai stared at the ceiling very intensely.

"We wanted to show we could do it ourselves like everyone else." I laughed while they started to look embarrassed.

"You twins are trouble, you should have asked for help though. Please do so next time." I joked. They both agreed. "But do you two know where dad is?" I asked them. Kai shrugged but it was Eliza who answered this time.

"He's in his study doing "work" or something." She said while making quotation marks in the air. Then they ran off laughing probably to cause more trouble.

Smirking I started my way to dad's study. I quickly opened the door and ran in to show him the news. He was sat at his desk with loads of papers stacked messily on top of it. His crown was thrown on top of a stack and his brown hair was ruffled from running his hands through it. He looked up from his papers when I walked in and immediately smiled despite clearly being stressed. He pushed some papers in a drawer before saying anything.

"What's up Princess?" He asked casually.

"Dad, I'm not a baby! I will take you down if I have to. That's a really such a old pet name." I laughed. He stood up from his chair and quickly picked me up over his shoulder.

"You will always be my little princess no matter how old or big you get." He replied. Propping my arm up on his back, I rolled my eyes.

"Can you put me down now?" I asked. He pretended to think for a minute until he started spinning around before setting me back down.

"Happy?" I nodded with a smile. He sat down on the floor with me before continuing his talking.

"So what can I do for ya?" He asked. I jumped up.

"It's time to start my training!" I said cheerfully. He frowned for a moment.

"No that's not right. You start that when your down feathers start being replaced." I wiggled my eyebrows at him. "Oh! Do you mean? Let's have a look at them then." He told me. When he was done looking he spun me around and poked my nose. "You're so big now! They're beautiful too, a bit like your mothers too." He smiled as he said it.

"Hey! Don't poke me! I'm sure they'll be like yours too." I said while staring at his dark brown almost black feathers.

"Maybe but your mothers are much prettier." He replied a bit distracted. I jumped up and hugged him.

"Don't say that! Yours are just as beautiful. It's not a competition either. But when can I start my training??" I asked eagerly.

"Calm down there, butterfly."

"Dad your nicknames are really old." I started while laughing.

"Oh. Lovey? Baby? Girly? Princess? Queen? Butterfly?" He joked. "But your training has started already. Your training to be the next queen of Solna. He went back over to his desk to grab his crown and admired it for a second before placing it on my head. He smiled at me and I could see how proud he already was. "Oh Sky, you're going to be a wonderful ruler one day." He praised. I laughed as the crown slipped a bit and fell over my eyes. I took it off my head and placed on his messy hair.

"It's still your throne." I snickered. "At least until Kai and Eliza break it somehow." He let it a hearty laugh. "That's true bu-" he started when mom walked through the door.

"Autumn! I was trying to lecture her!" He pretended to be disappointed.

"Aw don't act like you two aren't happy to see me." She replied cooly. She joined us on the floor and dad leaned over to move a blonde curl from her cheek and kiss her.

"It is nice to see you darling." He answered.

"HELLO! KID IN THE ROOM! You guys can be all lovey dovey when I'm gone!" I yelled. They both started laughing.

"So when does she start Ayden?" Mom inquired.

"Mm, tomorrow maybe. She's pretty excited." I laughed but nodded.

"Ayden has anything happened with them?" She whispered. He shook his head in response.

"Thankfully not." I tilted my head to the side questioningly but they said no more.

"C'mon then Sky. You need to get out of your pajamas and you, Ayden, need to shower. The whole castle probably knows it's you!" He laughed before complaining.

"You always say that! And your always wrong!" Autumn shook her head at her husbands statement.

"You mean right. You've been up so long that you're getting confused." She countered.

"Anyway, Sky were so happy for you. This is a great day for us all." Dad said while standing and mom did the same. I did so too and she picked me up and they hugged me. If it only it had been like that longer....
