Red's POV:

"Aerin! Ashton! Help me!" I yelled trying to gain their attention as I checked on Sky. She hadn't hit her head or anything since she had braced herself against the wall. Why so suddenly though? She said she nothing had happened, and why did she say "left" of all things? I started to pick her up as Ashton and Aerin ran down to greet us.

"Oh no..." Aerin said stopping short.

"Is she okay?" Ashton asked standing in front of me.

"I don't know but I want someone to get a doctor and now." I said as Aerin nodded and started sprinting back the way they had came. "Ashton we were just talking and all of sudden she went a bit pale and starting leaning against the wall and said left before passing out and then I called for you two."

"Well...we can have the doctors check her." He thought and began leading me back to the room I had been kept in, Noah was still there surprisingly.

"What happened?" He asked raising a eyebrow at us.

"Same thing that happened to me." I muttered putting her down. As I did so I glanced at her bandaged hand since it had been hastily wrapped, leaving some parts exposed.

"Ashton I think I know what she meant." I told him before unzipping her hoodie and taking the bandage off to show him her hand was mostly black coming from one wound. Ashton sighed sharply before I considered there could more to it. Rolling up her sleeve, I found there to be more lines following up her arm until a bit below her shoulder mostly following along her veins.

"Jeez." Noah said quietly. "Red did you get that?" He asked.

"No. I also wasn't infected by my hand either." I said as I faced them to pull the collar of my hoodie down a bit to show a small scar that was still fresh. "That's the extent of mine." Ashton nodded just as Aerin came running back with a doctor.

"I found - woah." She said mid-sentence staring at sky's arm.

"There's too many people in here." The doctor said shaking his head at us all causing Noah and Ashton to hesitantly walk out. "I guess two can stay then."

"Better be allowed to, I'm basically her sister and he's her boyfriend. You're not going to find any family besides us all." Aerin said a bit arrogantly.

"Fine but I'm sure how much I can do. We couldn't do anything for you Red and you weren't nearly as bad. If she were to come for help when you were out, maybe but not now. It's too far along, we can probably wait and watch."

"You mean wait and see if she dies?" I demanded and he said nothing.

"Red..." Aerin started but I was already out the door towards Noah and Ashton talking.

"He can't do anything. Said to just watch and wait. Wait for her to die." I fought to keep from yelling. "Why would she hide it? Sky's better than that." I questioned as a dreadful voice answered.

"She kept saying she didn't know how much time she had left. It was obvious Sky was holding out for you, to make sure even if she wasn't fine you would be." Ashton chimed in now.

"Actually that makes sense. You were her first priority. Aerin and I had to convince her it was okay to even leave to eat. She stayed with you day and night. I think she only left occasionally to eat and to give Noah time with you."

"I only got here about three days before you woke up. She was there for the other five alone. Even when I was there she was still around often. She slept in the chair every night and woke up if anyone came in the room. It was pretty funny to find her nearly ready to stab someone every time anyone came in when she was sleeping." Noah added.

"Ok I get it. She lied and hid it though. The doctors not saying it but he thinks she's too far gone to the poison for anything to help. I'm not taking that chance though. Oscar weren't you make a antidote?" He looked up as if surprised I knew.

"Oh about that...there was three variations of the poison on the blade. One was yours, one Sky's and James had the last. Obviously I don't need the antidote for yours, James is done as well but I can't figure out Sky's yet. As it is if she received the "antidote" it would kill her. It just doesn't respond the same way the other two did." Ducking great, just what I needed.

"Go back and try again then!" I demanded and he laughed.

"It's science, if there's not a way the there isn't a way. It's that simple." Oscar finished as Ashton went to check in another room probably James's as Noah placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Red take a walk, Oscar talk to me for a minute." Sighing, I let go of the breath I had been accidentally holding as I walked back to where Sky was. Aerin has left as well as the doctor, I didn't know where either had gone. So I just sat in the chair trying to make sense of everything that had just happened. It was like watching her in slow motion and now everything's happening too fast.
