Explanation

a few days later* Red Pov:

Nothing had changed too much. Sometimes it would look like she was having trouble breathing but it was fine. A fever had come and go repeatedly through the nights and the occasional whimpering continued. Ashton and Aerin would often come sit and talk with me for a while through the days. Just as she did, I tried to talk during the nights.

"N-no.." Sky barely whispered and I was already by her side before she finished.

"What's wrong?" I asked holding her hand. Hopefully Sky could somewhat respond. She just repeated no and started crying.

"Sky you need to wake up. It's alright." She just continued to cry and started getting hysterical.

"No!" I sat on the bed next to her and forced her to sit up so I could hold her.

"Sky listen, it's okay. You're alright."." Slowly the crying stopped but I continued talking. "Nothing's wrong, we're all still here and waiting for you. James got better too, he's been with Alex since, I know you will be okay soon, Angel." There was laughing when I stopped hugging her to see she was awake.

"A-are you making fun of me?" Her voice was quiet but her laugh definitely wasn't.

"No." I replied. "Why didn't you tell me you were awake?" I asked laughing now.

"Maybe the attention's okay." I mocked him.

"What happened?" I asked her and she avoided looking at me.

"It's fine..."

"No no no. The last time you said that got you into this room. So what happened?" She sighed trying to think of how to talk.

"There was a...I guess a au of myself, showed up when you were still unconscious but that didn't last very long and she said it would be much worse next but Aerin came to the door and you woke up."

"Okay but what happened this time?" I asked. Clearly it was worse as it had said, Sky wouldn't cry like that without a reason and a good one too. She took a deep breath.

"I had been joking that she had to do that when I could have been teasing you a bit more and she said if that's what I wanted and I woke up...er..well I thought I did. I couldn't find you at first but I caught you before you walked out to go see Jayden and you looked like you were ready for a war. Something felt wrong and I tried to warn you but you left anyway and it changed and I watched you die. Then Ashton and Aerin, my family again and Rowan and such, blaming me even if it wasn't me. Dest and Rowan had tried to hurt me and I gave up fighting back eventually. That's the general bit of it."

"I see. Well I'm not dead, neither is Ashton or Aerin. I wish Destrain was though." I laughed trying to lighten the mood. "Are you okay now?"

"I can't be sure honestly. I woke up from that nightmare and a scary pirate was talking to me." She laughed trying to mess with me. "Aerin said if we had just taken your eyepatch then you would have woke up sooner to take it back." I rolled my eyes.

"Of course she did. Might as well have gotten a bucket of water too while you were at it."

"I would not have let her go that far!" Sky yelled sitting up now. "Yes she's done that in the past but you've gotten used to it. It's not like she's locked you outside when it's raining."

"But I might now." She laughed and we saw Aerin standing in the doorway with James and Alex.

"Great, I can't ever leave a house again." I murmured.

"How are you doing, James?" Sky asked him as Alex ran around the room to look at everything.

"Fine surprisingly. How are you two?" James responded and I shrugged.

"I got a scar so that's cool I guess." I laughed before Sky tried to push me off the bed.

"Is that really all that matters to you?" She laughed at failing to move me. "I'll be okay after some food, James."

"We're going to go steal food from Ashton now!" Alex added excitedly which made James give Aerin a small glare.

"You really had to teach him that?" He questioned her.

"Yes now let's go before he finds out. C'mon Alex, I'll win again!" Aerin added before running out with Alex after her. James laugh and said goodbye before following them.

"That was strange.." Sky started.

"Yeah but what I still need to know is why you decided to hide your arm?" She had a small awkward laugh. "Don't do that."

"I was too worried about you to care."

"Sky. They thought you were beyond help. They were waiting for you to die. Do you not understand that?"

"I do understand but if I could go back I still wouldn't have asked for help. You got help and eventually started doing better so it's okay."

"Why are you like this?" I asked putting my hand over my eyes.

"I learned from the best." She laughed.

"Remind me to never teach you anything again."

"Your stubbornness has shown in everyone at some point so don't even."

"No, that's not my fault. You can't blame everything on me." I exclaimed as she covered my eyes and pulled her sleeve back up.

"At least I got a "battle wound" like you." She mocked probably recalling all the times I've gotten hurt from fights.

"Yeah but mine doesn't go half way up my arm now does it? It's just a small line near my collar." I countered as she stood up.

"C'mon then." She nodded towards the door as I raised an eyebrow.

"Where are we going?" I question before standing as well.

"Jayden clearly didn't understand what "stay away" meant so I suppose we'll have to tell her again." Sky smirked before walking out as I followed. "I wouldn't be surprised if you took every weapon with you." She called over her shoulder.

"You say that as if I don't already carry them with me." I laughed as she automatically spun around to face me.

"No wonder the fan girls have somehow kept a very small distance." I shrugged in response, those fans were relentless and so annoying. "Get changed, I'm not having you get hurt because you were reckless enough to try a fight with them in a hoodie again." I only rolled my eyes so she kissed my cheek to try and guilt me into it. "Please."

"Fine, but don't think you got away with anything." I said with a small laugh before stalking off through the castle.
