I opened my eyes to darkness. I usually could see better in the dark. Better than this.
"di immortales," I yelped. An eery deep voice crept up from around me. It was so loud even from the distance it seemed to have. I reached up to my ear plugs to find that they were gone. I saw them on the floor and I reached for them. They moved away. I tried and tried again, the loud deep voice seemed to be getting louder with every laugh.
"The immortals won't be helping you here dear!" Tears pooled down from my sore eyes as I looked around.
"This is what darkness feels like?" "This is terrible!"

Then a girls voice echoed through my ears. It wasn't as eery as the one before and it awakened me from my scary day dream and found tears heavily running down my face. I realized no one noticed and I calmed down and wiped them away.
"Hello girls" the young girl said, speaking out first. The girl looked about eight. She had straight red hair. She looked way to young to be in a 'conference room' but she seemed to act way older than eight. There were twelve people, just like I thought. I didn't know these people and yet they all seemed familiar. All of the sounds and smells were back. I had my ear plugs in and I held my nose, but it wasn't enough. My head started to spin and I felt like I was going to get sick right then and there. I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw my friend Nemea.
"Here you go Girly." that's what she called me. Girly. That was because she was like the older sibling I never had. Every body heard her. Every one looked except for the twelve people in front of us.
I saw an orange flame like barrier fly over me and turn into a bubble. Then I could smell and hear the things but not like before. They were there, yet not like before. The room got darker and the lingering grape taste and salty sea air stopped landing on my tongue. The room wasn't as cold any more. I realized that this was helping me by toning down my senses and reflexes. I felt like a normal person. I didn't like it. Not one bit. Then I felt the peoples gaze, slower than usual but still, as if they were waiting for and answer that I didn't have.
"Girls, guys, this is Nemea." I realized that no one but the girls were wondering who this stranger standing behind me was. I didn't understand what they were staring at.
"That's not Nemea, you're Nemea!" Phoenix yelped, obviously confused.
"I know I am Nemea, but she is the goddess Nemea," I explained, expecting this to be more exciting. Considering I was showing everyone my friend that I grew up listening to for advice.
"There's a goddess named Nemea?" Serina added on, making me even more mad.
Then I remembered my empathy link with Nemea.
I was feeling her. . . feelings and I glared at her. She told me that sometimes even she couldn't control it. The empathy link held our emotions. I asked her why she was there with me one day when I was ten. I was watching a movie in my class. I was going, going, gone and she appeared.
"Yeah because I totally didn't want to watch that movie," I barked making sarcasm show it's ugly self.
"Got any questions to ask me?" I was feeling curious that day and full of questions.
"My first question is, how did you know I wanted to ask questions?"
"First I am only here to answer one question and second that's seriously your question?" she asked me, and then told me all about it.
"Oh."
"Yeah." Then I woke up to the bell letting us out of school.
"Okay girls, each of you will be training with one of us, The Gods and Goddesses of Olympus. Then every thing that I was wondering came to life in front of me, reached up, and slapped me straight in the face. "Oh," was all I could breath out. I was standing in front of the twelve most important people in the room, no, world, no, universe! I started to Stutter things like, "You - you're- r- real?!? "You.. you've got to be kidding me!
