Now, Don't get me started on how little the girl that just beat that monster to a pulp was.
I walked out the mahogany door and was met by darkness. I hadn't realized how late it was until I saw it. My eye lids went droopy as soon as the warm city met my face. I heard a little girl. She was crying. I couldn't find her. The city, made out of marble, seemed to give off no light. I looked around. I couldn't find her. I heard her panic. Then my heart started to pound. My mind started to go blank and my eyes filled with tears. I almost gave up. I looked around for a long while but I knew I'd get just as lost as the girl seemed to be. I started to calm down and I listened. I heard nothing. Then a growl. It was huge and it sounded as if it was every wheres. When it hit my ears they twitched, and I screamed. My yelp could have woken the entire city if it wasn't for the thing that the bellow belonged to. I started to panic. I knew that the little girl was being attacked. Don't ask me how. Then I warmed up. I hadn't realized how cold it was. I looked around. I could see. A warm orange glow was coming from some wheres, but... I looked down. I was glowing. I had no clue what was going on, but I looked around. I saw the little girl. She had red hair. Oh. "Hestia, look out !" She jumped out of the way just as the big ugly brute smashed his big ugly foot down.
She jumped up just in time. "Look out girl! Summon your weapon! NOW!" "What?!" The little girl was small. yet she sounded as if she was older and wiser. She reached out her hand. Her weapon appeared. "Now you! Just think to yourself: weapon!" I did just that. But all my palm did was warm up. I tried frantically again. The monster was terribly close. I tried again and again, getting the same results. "HESTIA! HELP!" She materialized in front of me. The took her spear and waved it at... it. It backed away. obviously not wanting to get burnt. She threw the spear and it exploded through the air.It hit the monster with such a force, the sand that the monster turned into, was flown through the air and turned into a mini sand storm. "Now, shall we begin training"
We walked into town and I saw just how big it was. It was amazing. The people were all friendly and they moved out of our way, even when they carried big jugs, that I assumed were filled with water. I looked into the shop windows and I saw beautiful things. every thing from jewels, to food, to clay pots and pans. I met with the girls for lunch and then we went our separate ways. Hestia beckoned me to follow her and we ended up down by a glistening blue lake. Or, rather, a river. She told me that the best way to summon my powers was by panicking. She helped me summon my weapon. It was a sword. It's handle was dark orange as was the blade. when I swung it the sword left a trail of smoke. I yelled fire as hestia told me and a trail of liquid molten lava flew out of the tip. Instead of going every wheres, it hit the target dummy and it exploded. the chunks or lava covered dummy were disintegrated and the lava disappeared. I learned how to summon my powers without panic ad I was now ready for what ever that thing that Hestia was battling earlier.
