I now knew what my powers were and I did not like my senses going into overload.
After hours of figuring out my powers I wondered what she would do about my senses. I knew about those for as long as I can remember. "It is time I showed you a little more about those senses." Hestia's voice changed and I looked around. She was gone.
I knew this was the mythological realm but as soon as I met my new trainer I realized just how big this place really was. "Hello child. My name is Bast. I'm your next trainer."
I scanned my brain for answers. The only logical answer was that this goddess was indeed not Grecian. As if reading my mind, she announced "I am indeed not from Greek mythology. I am Egyptian." About two seconds later, I realized who she was. "You are the goddess Bast! The cat goddess to be exact." "Yes, Nemea was it? Scary animals. Oh but I suppose not all of them, There was that one..." "Bast!" I'd known this goddess for two minutes and she was already babbling. The lady herself looked rather confusing. Her hair was braided and it was a deep black. It was braided with chunks of gold. She wore a leopard skin leotard with a lace skirt that flew this way and that as it sway in the wind. "Sorry. Now. What am I here for, oh yes. Dear, you hold the spirit of the nemean lion. So your senses are in hyper drive. Now I believe you have a safety bubble so let me just..." She popped it. Ever heard a bubble gum bubble burst? Amplify that sound fifty times and you get what I heard. I couldn't hold in the scream. That made Bast tense but not wince.
"What did you do that for?!" "Well you had to come out of there at some point. it would have gotten popped anyways. Now." And with that the world went dark.
By dark I mean by the experience I had in the bubble, this wasn't really dark. It was like, evening time to normal senses. I heard tapping. judging from the echo it was about a football field away. I could also see bAST. "BAST, THIS IS GOING NO WHERES! ALL MY SENSES AND REFLEXES ARE AMPLIFIED. WHY AM I SHOUTING, you are like me!" "True." with that she jumped to me. literally she took a giant leap and she was just... there. "Dinner time!" And we left.
