Chapter 4: Zero Hours for her Comeback

Emizz's P.O.V.

I take the exit gate for I can't use the main gate because of medias waiting for... Urgh ba't ba kasi nadamay pa ang mga magulang ko dito. Kasalanan to ng babaeng yun. Kasama ko ngayon si Tap sa pagpupuslit papuntang Van nila kasi hindi ko magamit ang kotse ko.

" You sure, makakaya mo nang magcommute? madami nang nakakakilala ngayon sa iyo, baka pagkaguluhan ka ng mga medya sa labas. " Tita Liessy, mother of Tap asked me.

"It's ok tita I can handle myself. thank you. " Kumaway na lang ako sa kanya habang naglalakad ako palabas ng bahay nila. I insist na magpahatid sa bahay kasi may pupuntahan pa ako.

I take the route to that place. Nagpapasalamat ako dahil wala pang nakakakilala sa akin dito kahit marami na ang mga tao. May mga napapatingin sa akin pero binabawi naman agad.

I smiled when I saw the name Zero Hours. I immediately entered the room as I reach the door.

" Emizz!" Pasigaw na bati sa akin ni Cobi. A friend of mine and the drummer in our band. Niyakap ko na lang siya nang makita ko.

" Look who's here? I thought you're dead, girl!" a sarcastic tone coming from the mouth of this young lady. Rain. Ganyan talaga pagnagsasalita yan. Pagkatapos niya akong lingunin ay tuloy na lang siya sa panonood ng TV at pagnguya sa kanyang bubble gum. One of the guitarist.

" Uhm guys, who wants pizza. I ordered. Wait Emizz!" patakbong tugon ni Ayesha sa akin. She hugged me tightly. Siya kasi pinakaclose sa akin since siya ang pinakabata at mas nagkakaintindihan kami sa maraming bagay. The pianist.

"Well seems that you missed me so much. " nakataas ang kilay kong tugon sa kanila. I sit behind Rain when a girl on fire hits me.

"Seriously? No. " The band leader took my side and pinched my ear gently as she sit at the hand of the sofa. That voice I missed it. And I miss this girl very much.

"Teikie!" I shouted as I hugged her very tight. I missed her very much she is my co-vocalist and I thought she is still on Hong Kong for their family Trip.

" Oh this girl! Come on I can't breathe!" instead I hugged her very tight. I miss her and her scent. 

"I miss you so much. " I said.

"So sweet. Lol come on go get your own sofa!" inis na bulyaw ni Rain na tinawanan naman nina Ayesha at Cobi.

"Lol as if I've missed you. "Sarcastically, But I love those tone of voices. nothing plastic. "Where have you been. Two months kang di nagparamdam. kung di ka pa talaga lumabas sa T.V. di pa namin alam kung buhay ka pa or what?"

"I'm sorry guys, I was forced to maintain my grade this time after my parents know about this." I said. "Pinagbawalan akong lumabas ng bahay since, my average had lowered with .1 %."

"Oww! perks of having a mother." Coby said. " I can't relate with that kind of feeling."

" Out of place Coby? your dad just ruined the whole bar of mine when he knows that you had admirers." Rain said. I remember that day when Mr. Del Franco got mad when he saw three little blue roses on Coby's handbag.

"Oows Rain, Is it like when your mother being crazy searching for you when you decided to take the plane to Coron? "Ayesha joked Rain to her so called most embarrassing moment. Muntik nang mabaliw ang mama ni Rain sa mga panahong iyon. Rain leave all her things inside her room then decided to leave. Who the hell are we for not telling her plan to take in a plane to Coron?

"Shut up Ayesha, Who are you to reminisce that past. " Rain responded to Ayesha.

"Hahaha! Lol Guys easy." Teikie said. "I also remember that day when-" Ayesha covered Teikie's mouth.

"Teikie stop. Change topic!" And we all laugh. Nakakamiss ito.

" So, how are you with that boy you punched?" A question hits me in the middle of nowhere. Alam na din pala nila. I look at Rain with question mark in my face. "What?"

"What 'what?' " I asked

" I mean that varsity boy and the heartthrob and the president's Son. Ellie-"

"Kyaaaaah!!!" Rain's saying was disturbed by Ayisha's shout. "I'm sorry, Waaaah! Ellie Madrid Jhensen. The campus heartthrob at Jhensen's Academy? what had happened?"

"Well a long story" I said. "For now, Mr. Jhensen, the president wants me to be Ellie's date on Jhensen's Foundation day. " A thought from nowhere just came out in my mouth.

"What?" and the four looked at me with the CAN YOU REPEAT IT look.

And there I realized what I've said.

It's already 10 when I leave Zero Hours and go directly at our house. maaga pa naman para sa akin iyon since wala naman akong gagawin. Nagkwentuhan lang kami tungkol sa nangyari sa akin sa school at kung ano ang nangyari sa kanila nang wala ako. They hotseated me like I am a star guest on The TV show Abunda Tonight. Urgh! Bakit ko ba kasi nabanggit iyon!

"Hi yaya!" I greeted my yaya Rosing when I entered my room.

"Good evening baby. Hinahanap ka ng mga magulang mo sa baba. Halika" nagpalit lang ako ng pambahay tsaka bumaba.

I saw mom and dad at the dining table and they are on the middle of food. Umupo lang ako ng walang pasintabi.

"What is this rumor about you and that boy-- what is his name?" hindi pa ako nakakupo ng maayos ng simulan na naman akong tanungin. As expected.

"Ellie Madrid Jhensen. The president's son. Wait what rumor?" Nagpatuloy lang sila sa pagkain habang ako kumukuha na ng pagkain sa table.

" Oh I know that boy" mom said. " Bakit mo naman sinuntok? Don't you know na madadamay ang pangalan namin ng daddy mo dito?"

"Well mom I'm sorry. Ok. I just... I just lost my temper. Napakayabang kasi. So I did what I did. I'm sorry mom and dad." pagtatanggol ko sa sarili ko. Nagpatuloy lang ako sa pagkain ko.

"Well, don't hide from the cameras baby. I know they will chase you until they can't get any comments from you. I'll schedule for your interview so that it'll not be so hassle for you. " Dad said. Tumango na lang ako sa kanya para man lang matahimik na ang buhay ko. Ayaw ko pa sana kasi maexpose na naman ako sa light but then if that is the way for them to stop chattering? then fine I'll go.

Nagpatuloy lang kami sa pagkain namin ng parang walang nangyari. Napakatahimik nang bigla kong itinabi ang fork and spoon na hawak ko.

"I'm done."

"Are you?" mahinahong tanong ng aking ina. Tumango lang ako sa kanya. "Umupo ka muna dito. I just want to talk to you about Bielle that'll visit us here in the Philippines. "

"W-what?" It's not my fault if I overreact with this kind of news. Bielle is my sibling but I don't want her. She is the total opposite of mine. Kaya walang magandang maidudulot kung magkasama kami.

"She will stay here for Three months for she got a music video to do. So please be nice to your sister baby." Dad said. Ugh come on. Well what's new. Maghahanda ako ng welcome party para bukas.

"Urgh! Nevermind dad. I know Bielle will be happy for her visit here with us. " sambit ko bago ako umalis sa dining table.
