*Richie*

I hear a knock on the door. I open it the person is a little foggy but it seems to be Eddie."hi" he says quietly. "Hey" I say signaling him to come in. He hand me my glasses. "Woah eds!" I say excitedly. He smiles "it took my summer, bar mitzvah and birthday money but it's worth it for someone you lo- I mean uhh... care about. I laugh. I take his hand and lead him to the couch.

I still hold his hand and we talk little. "Thanks for fixing my glasses.. you didn't have to" I say out of the blue. He looks at me and smiles "no problem." He says. "You wanna go upstairs" I ask. "Only if I can read Your comics he says. I laugh and walk up the stairs. He grabs a comic and sits on my chair. I sat on my bed and also read. I can catch him staring at me. "Hey kaspbrack" I say. "What" Eddie asks with his eyes glued to the book and blushing a little. "What does it mean to be hurt." I ask. Eddie looks up, surprised I would ask anything like that.

He puts the comic next to him on my desk an looks me in the eyes. "It means believing in something so strongly even though you know fills never happen." He says. I think about what he says. I have an idea. I pull out my phone, Eddie still looking at me I pull up Ben's contact as I wonder what Eddie sees in me.

RICHIE- hey can I use your stereo, drop it off real quick?

BEN- oh ok I'm on my way.

RICHIE-thanks bud.

I turn off my phone and run down the stairs. "Stay here eds" I call out and open the door and see Ben walking away while he waves. The stereo is on my step. I pick it up and run to my room. I put the stereo on my desk and turn on (wonderin by Nicole Reynolds.) Perfect I think. Eddie has a confused look but he's still smiling. The freckles on his face raise up. I hold out my hand. "Eddie do you uhh... wanna dance?" I ask and my hand sits there in the air. He laughs and reaches his arm out and I pull him up. We spin around and hold hands. And the sun shines on him. The Orange light from the window makes it feel like a dream. I lean down and hold Eddie he's almost touching the ground and our noses are touch. He leans closer to me and we kiss. When we are done we sit on the floor. I grab a sunflower plant from the corner of my room and put some in Eddie's hair. My mouth barely, just a little, a tiny bit opens while I look at him and my eye  sparkle. "You look really.. cute.." I say his sheepish smile make him look even more cute.

He leaves a while later I wave and watch him walk away.
